1. £65 including UK delivery, comes with original box. Great condition, never mounted on my pedalboard.
2. Only used a couple of times at home with a pedal I sold and... this is just doing nothing and I don't foresee needing it. Comes with original box. £25 inc delivery UK
3.
Could this be used with a simple p bass passive?
yes, but you'll still need to power the mid-sweep module, so a 9V battery must be fitted somewhere. That was exactly my intended use: on my Squier Mike Dirnt P-bass! But I changed my mind, as my idea meant having a new metal plate made and it just got too complicated for a bass that I don't use that much.
4. changed my mind... keeping this one!
5. I recently bought a beautiful Fender Jazz 75RI from Chris. We met in Glasgow at his band's amazing rehearsal space and we spent a little time playing with the Jazz and a beautiful Stingray he had with a Status neck (remember, if you ever want to move it on, tell me first!!! ) and our BF BB2 cabs... Really nice guy... The Jazz is now called "La 78" even if it's a 75RI, just because I ended up going to a place in Glasgow called "78" for lunch afterwards with the bass. Just so you know. Thanks, Chris!
6. I recently sold Ross a pair of Jazz pickups... absolutely smooth transaction, as I knew it would be... A while back I bought an EBMM SUB5 from Ross that he even delivered personally in Edinburgh and had the opportunity to meet him. Great guy! Sorry for the late feedback, Ross!
7. I recently bought Harry's EBS Multicomp pedal... can't be happier. Well, I suppose I could, but the transaction went smooth and everything was great, that's what I meant. Thank you!
8. I recently sold Ambient my MB LMIII head... smooth transaction, no problem. Thank you, Ian!
9. I recently bought Dan's Wizard 84 pickups. I haven't installed them yet, but I'm sure they're fine Great communication and quick delivery, yay!
10. I recently bought Harry's MB LMT800 amp. A real pleasure, nice communication, excellent packaging job and fast shipping... Thank you Harry!
11. David recently bought my BBE OptoStomp pedal. Absolutely smooth transaction, he came to collect the pedal in person. I hope you like the pedal! Thank you!
12. I recently bought Andy's GB Streamliner 900 amp. I can't be happier with the transaction. Really helpful, great communication, he packaged the amp really well and posted it in a record time, keeping me informed of every step. Two thumbs up, and the two big toes as well!
13. Loop - selector / clean blend pedal... and lots more. I have owned up to three of these things, but these days I manage with just one, so here's my last spare LS-2
14. £40 including UK delivery Pretty cool overdrive + distortion pedal with 2-band EQ and an interesting "attack" switch to add extra harmonics... Imminent arrival of a custom COG pedal will make this one redundant, so... here it is.
15. £85 inc delivery, excellent condition.
16. £40 inc delivery An octave pedal with adjustable extra filth Pretty good tracking on this one!
17. Never installed... a project that did not materialise. add on to a standard 2-band preamp, or to a passive circuit. The top knob is the cut/boost control, the bottom is the frequency sweep (100Hz-1000Hz or 200Hz-2000Hz) no soldering - screw terminals. £45 delivered, UK.
18. Like new, I like the idea of loopers and sound fun but... this thing remains ignored on my shelf, so I might as well move it. £90 including delivery (UK)
19.
What do you mean, it's not discontinued. It's on their website.
so it is!!!!!!!!! I was convinced they stopped making it a while ago! Glad it's back. It's a good one.
20.
The damping is easy if you play the F on the D string.
of course there are ways around it but... it's sooo easy to detune the E string and sooo easy to play that riff and similar others using a pedal low D note... I've been playing my 5-string Lakland more recently, and soem things I'd normally detune the E string for can be played standard on the 5er, no doubt... but some are just awkward and/or just don't sound "right" when not using the open string. So I'd use a 5er standard if I had to, but given any opportunity, I'd even detune the E on the 5er for those songs. Call me lazy but I think i...
21.
how long does it take to tune one string?
no time at all with a Hipshot Bass X-tender I regularly have to switch between D and E and a Hipshot thingy is just tremendously useful.
22.
And the EBMM forum is full of psychos.
not arguing with you there... but that only means "stay away from the forum".
23.
So … try them both and pick the one that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. For me, the Ray always wins in this test - and I say this as someone who owns a Sandberg (a JM4, not a Basic) and loves it. The Sandberg looks great, plays great and sounds great, but every time I plug in the Ray I get the same "Whoah, f**k yeah!' thrill that no other bass seems to be able to deliver.
ha! indeed! I take a break from time to time, and whenever I go back to the Stingray I get that "Whoah, f**k yeah!" feeling
