1.
I'd have this if it were a lefty. Exactly what I'm after :-(
I can include a mirror for a tenner extra
2.
Is that the one u bought on eBay mate?
The very same one indeed! I'm getting a hit here compared to what I paid, but I need the room.
3.
Any use for a poly tune noir? Kev
Unfortunately, I bought the standard white one (mini) a few months ago!
4. Steve sold me his EBS Octabass. Very friendly, great communication, fast delivery... Perfect. Oh, and the pedal is great and in really good condition too Thanks Steve!
5. I bought Vince's VT-Bass pedal. Friendly communication and really fast delivery, could not be happier. The pedal is in fantastic condition too. Thank's Vince!
6. Used Seymour Duncan preamp, 3-band, their Stingray model. STC-3M4. 4 knobs + output jack, plus battery connector (battery connector not in the picture). Bass, Mids, Treble and Volume. The volume knob is a push/pull which engages the "slap circuitry", essentially boost on lows and treble. I believe there is a trim pot to adjust the boost. I bought it here from another forum member but the project will not materialise, so... here it goes again
7. Jazz bass body, unfinished. Alder. Never been used, another project I changed my mind about! £60 including delivery in mainland UK
8. This pickup is unboxed, but new. Never installed. I'm pretty sure I still have the box, so I'll try to find it but I cannot guarantee it. Perfect condition. Bought for my Retrovibe, but then I decided to do without neck pickup entirely. £40 delivered
9. Bridge and Neck pickups with black covers. Very good cosmetic condition. Installed once, only a cm of cable cut from them, so nearly full length. £65 including delivery in the UK.
10.
I think you may have missed the joke. If I had £11k i'd buy it in a heartbeat.
aaaaaaaaah yup, it went over my head
11.
Another sale thread asking more for a secondhand bass than a new one goes for.
This would be relevant if you could buy a new 1961 Fender Jazz in 2013... Whether you think the asking price is reasonable is another matter entirely, and we are all entitled to our opinions. Some would argue a 2013 Jazz is superior
12. The time has come to let this one go... Platinum series BC Rich Mockingbird. Dual P. Pretty good condition all around... £150 delivered in mainland UK, or collected from/delivered in Edinburgh (with a discount then )
13.
Hmm, does this fit a proper ray i wonder?
It does. The EBMM SUB (2003-2006) and the EBMM Stingray use the same design. The SUB where this pickguard came from now sports a genuine EBMM Stingray pickguard. They are interchangeable.
14. EDIT: I would trade it for an Aguilar Filter Twin pedal **price includes delivery** This is quite a thick overdrive pedal. It has two channels, so you can easily have two levels of distortion available from the two footswitches... that's one of the main reasons I bought it. I have used it for... maybe 2 years? Eventually I have moved on from this sound and I find I am no longer using it... Time to let it go. Pedal in great condition. I am not sure the Youtube videos make it justice, but it'll give you an idea of the general character of this pedal:
15. EDIT: withdrawn. It's too good to sell This is the very first version of the Danelectro Transparent Overdrive, that was based on Paul Cochrane's Timmy overdrive, apparently. You can check online, lots of videos and discussion about this, and the reason many suspect the v2 of the Danelectro pedal came out so quickly with a slightly different sound. I don't really know... What I know: Transparent Overdrive is a good way to call this pedal. It really is transparent. It is designed for guitar, where it excels, but works really well on bass. It has a dual band EQ, which makes it really easy to adjust the tone to have just however much bottom end you want.. Low gain to pretty high gain sounds. At its lowest setting, there is no distortion. I bought this to have a bit of clean boost and very very low gain sounds. It works pretty well. Metal casing, blue led. BLUE LED!!! Everybody knows the best pedals have a blue led It has a bit of velcro on the bottom, really good condition.
16. Pretty wild envelope filter, add some fuzz and enjoy its "Sir-Psycho-Sexyness" Good condition... £45 delivered
17. Jazz bass blue pearloid pickguard, with protective plastic sheet still in place. Never installed. £15 delivered
18. With plastic protective sheet in place, never installed. £15 delivered
19. From WD Music. Still has the plastic protective sheet. Never used. £15 delivered
20. I personally don't like it... except on black basses. On black it is actually alright. Anyway... here it is. £11 including delivery. EDIT: It turns out I have TWO of these. One from each of my SUBs. Both are in the same excellent condition, so no worth taking another picture... EDIT2: ONLY ONE left.
21.
I have the AMT. It's a cool pedal, but the sweep is a little hard to control. It can get really deep and subby on the lo setting though, and the hi setting is more classic wah territory - the mid setting I feel is not so usable. Doesn't beat the Wahoo for sound, but it's size is very convenient on a small board!
thanks for that! Thomann said it was shipped yesterday, so probably early next week it'll be with me. I imagine that being so small it must take a while to get used to its operation, as the sweep will probably need to be more accurately done. But the fact it's nearly the same size as a standard pedal is a big plus for me. Can't wait for it to arrive.
22.
I think he is very clever. Like a talented version of Robbie Williams.
but a little harsh
