Have changed the pre amp from tonepump to aggy OBP-3 and it has made a huge difference in tone control and general presence of the bass in the mix.

Not sure about that.. this is not the standard run Euro LX model, well if no one wants it it will go to the shop to sell, not a problem bud this is a monster and its open for a tryout at my place of course with no obligation. Pete

Big price drop £400 + p&p Up for sale. This is not the Squier model, Mex made and worth the extra bucks I feel. Bought a few weeks ago played for maybe 30 mins at home only. I bought this bass after having a noodle when at GAK but why I did I don't know as I have to many basses as it is. Lovely player and sounds fabulous, I tried the Squier version but it was not as good in my opinion so got this one instead but it wont get played as I am trying to concentrate on 5 strings. doh!!! As new condition The Preamp has been changed for an Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp. Opens up so much tonal variety as this bass has coil taps on both pickups as well.
