1.
My 2010 Honda Civic gets loads in it. Seats go flat easily, and I can get all my drum kit and hardware in it, all in Hardcase boxes. 2.2 Diesel, very fast too
I know a drummer who runs a Civic and they're surprisingly good cars for carrying gear around, and they're comfy too. So if you want something relatively bomb proof and comfortable, Civics are good. I run a Fabia but I'm just very good at playing tetris Vectra estates are huge inside and the load space is completely flat, and I like Passats too.
2. Okay it needs to go, £200
3. Bugger, fair enough. I'll have to think about that one!
4. I'm also interested, going to be borrowing one for a gig or two just to make sure it works well with my cabs. Would you be able to courier? Or even possibly meet part way, I'm going down to Rhyl this or next week so if I get on with it (and if you still have it!) I'm wanting it!
5. Parcelforce 48 are coming in at £23.07 plus VAT
6. I can look into it but I imagine it wouldn't be cheap. I'll get it weighed and measured up though
7. And a "my car insurance is due very soon and I need the money" bump. C'mon guys
8. That's fine, there's no hurry as I've not yet found an SMX I want, as the one I was after was removed from sale. Keeping my eyes open

It has to be said, they don't do it any justice, but I'll be sure to give it a good clean before it goes anywhere
10. Yeah no problem, I'll get onto it a bit later on
11. Hi guys I'm selling on my trusty Trace Elliot GP7 SM250 head. It's 1994 built, 250 (trace) watts, peaks at around 500. Drives down to 4ohm into 1 or 2 cabs It's got the standard Trace Elliot mod cons such as being built like a tank, tuner out on the back, balanced DI on the front and the 7 band EQ It's also got an original cover but to be honest the cover has seen better days, I'll tidy up the gaffer tape repairs before it goes anywhere. There's a couple of marks on the amp as well but only cosmetic, it is around 19 years old to be fair! £200 Based in Rochdale, Lancs at this moment in time, but I'll be heading down to North Wales some point within the next couple of weeks and I'm heading over to Barnsley too, so can arrange to meet if required, can also look into postage
12. I mask off and use lemon oil on the green bit of a kitchen sponge. I'll then demask and clean all the gunk from the wood and wipe the lemon oil on, leave for a bit and then wipe off the excess. Works a treat!
13. I think I've struck lucky really, at home I live in an edwardian period terraced house, so big, high rooms which means the sound travels easily. Luckily my neighbours on both sides are also musical, although one side is more karaoke based. So really, they don't really mind and there've been instances where jamming has happened through the walls At my flat though it's a different story, multistorey with VERY thin walls, I don't practise through an amp as much there as I've had my fair share of noise complaints. I do live right below a musician though and he makes a hell of a lot of noise!
14. Down to £500 now plus postage, Needs to go, so if you're feeling lucky / cheeky, make me an offer. Worst that could happen is that I can say no
15. They're adjustable afaik Barrie, so if you take it out you can probably adjust the parameters the parameters on the pots
16. Well after selling my 4 string fretted Corvette I realised it may have been a mistake to get rid a 4 string. 5 isn't always the way forward and a 4 is a lot easier to teach on. So had a scan around with the intention to build, and decided to have a look at the cost of Japanese built Jazzes from the 80s / 90s...and I ended up stumbling across this beauty: Built in the 80s in the Matsumoko plant, not sure if it's Fender or not, but given where it was built, the quality is all that of an American Fender so I'm not really fussed. It's only got one or two marks on it, it looks great and it sounds fantastic, although I'm not really struck on the Rotosound Nexus strings it came with.

GONE !!!

I'll take them!
18. fair enough, I got the link through at 9am so I've not watched it with clear vision yet!
19. Heavy night Rob?
20. I don't normally post in here (if at all), but I recently got together with a couple of mates and put together a group just covering this that and the other really. This is from our first gig https://vimeo.com/68186074 Not sure why it's so dark, but I've been told that the darkness (and slight out of syncness) is to do with the encoding.
21. Another one in the nail varnish camp, it's worked some wonders over in the Goblin household, especially when the Wal had an altercation with an orchestral music stand!
22. Get yer coat, that pun'll have you rushing for the door! There is something about Geddy having odd things on stage though, once it was a chicken rotisserie, the current tour it's a popcorn machine!
23. I carry both my Corvettes (4 and 5) in a Hiscox Liteflite and they fit beautifully. The only thing to watch is that they're a bit arse heavy, so the balance can be a bit iffy!
24. Worst bass I've ever played was a Harley Benton of sorts with a PJ layout, and it just redefined horrible. I've played an Epi Thunderbird too and it was a grim experience too. The worst bass I've owned was probably a chinese Tokai Jazz. It wasn't particularly bad, but I just couldn't get on with it, it did feel quite cheap and it didn't really last that long before I moved onto fretted Corvettes, then it got sold within 2 months of buying it!
25. If you do, lemme know what you want for the Tokai
