    Ordering a standard one direct from sadowsky isnt actually that expensive compared to getting a custom one made here. $50 is pretty reasonable considering they actually fit their basses properly (unlike fender replacement guards)

    Played the bass in the youtube video today! It was Absolutely stunning what was even more stunning was the price!! I cant beleive this quality is available at such a modest price! he could easily command double what he's asking and it would still be a great deal!

    Almost all hiss and buzz can be reduced if not eliminated by shielding and earthing all the cavities in the bass! I find conductive shielding paint to be the easiest method. Even cheap basses can be relatively noise free

    If i were you i'd give john east a call! http://www.east-uk.com He has a vast range of preamps that will fit in your bass with minimum fuss! Most of which come almost fully pre wired and have screw terminals for the pickups so you dont have to use a soldering iron!

    I have 2 sets of sadowsky pickups for sale!! 1x 4 string set SOLD!!! & 1x 5 string set still available Both are the hum canceling type The 4 string set is only a few weeks old, ordered direct from NYC The 5 string set is a little older but still in great shape, bought from gilento here on basschat (bought for a project that i never got round to finishing) Im asking £90 each set including P&P Cheers Chris 07974317284
