1. Can i show some love for hartke cabs??? Ive used their transporter 4x10's for a few years now and i bloody love em!! Great value, light weight (as light as markbass neo cabs) and the sound is just right for me! And all that for £120!! (second hand) Cant go wrong with Hartke
2. That looks stunning!! Ive no idea how its stayed so clean? It looks brand new!
3. This is crazy!! it looks well off in those pictures! Totally unacceptable at this level IMO I hope it gets sorted out properly and the shop look after you mate
4. Hey! Welcome to basschat mate! Nice gear you've got there! Good luck with the sale
5. Right quick test for stingray owners (4 & 5 string) Take a close look at how the g string passes over the pole pieces on the pickup....... 4 string owners should notice that its quite off centre while the other three strings pass over their pole pieces much more accurately! 5 string owners should notice that their g strings / pole pieces line up almost perfectly......(hence lack of g string issue on the 5's) Surely this has something to do with it?? To me on the fours they should re design the pickup to match the string spacing at the bridge (which is fixed anyway so should be dead easy) Just my 2p's worth
6. Im also with musicguard! Nothing to fault them on yet, i like how you can even opt for gear break down / repair and they pay for the hire of replacement gear while things get fixed! Nice Fingers crossed i wont need to claim but its nice to know im covered on the gear i take out to gigs just in case
7. Rik is a cracking bloke, dont hesitate to do a deal with him on this bass! I've heard it in action recently and its awesome! Good luck with the sale / trade
8. These are awesome cabs! i use them with Markbass heads and they sound great! just as light as a markbass 4x10 too! i'd keep the cab if i were you
9. Right thats it!! Im buying a stingray so i cant get this sort of trade deal!!! Wow!! Deal of the year that mate!!
10.
Hope you are still enjoying that amazing P Vintage. I miss it sometimes, but I have to be honest that I always choose for a Jazz bass. I've owned a lot of Celinders (especially if you consider there are only a couple of hunderd Celinders made): - J Update 4 - J Vintage 5 fretless - J Vintage 4 fretless - P Classic - P Vintage But my J Classic 4 I received in 2007 is really special. I use for 90% on stage. WOW!! i want one!!

13.
Oh yes, more than very happy with my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 & two 12" Genz Neox cabs powering a Status S2-Classic. Nothing better.
WOW!! Stunning basses / rig i'd love to try a Status
14.
Chris, You da Man Don't those 410's weigh 88 lbs each?
haha cheers Nah they're the transporter range and way 65lbs (actually lighter than a markbass 104hf neo cab) http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=40 if you bare in mind my old Aguilar 2x10 weighed in at nearly 60lbs, the hartke is really light for a 4x10
15. i totally agree! Just because it costs a lot of money doesn't mean it will sound better i've played through countless great big heavy amp heads and expensive cabs that couldn't produce the sound i get from the tiny Markbass + Hartke The other night i was at a gig, The band were playing to 200+ people, their bass player had a stingray copy running through a tiny ashdown 1x12 (i think) combo which was then DI'd into the P.A system! it sounded HUGE!! and all for a few hundred quid! this is why i'll never understand people who break their backs to take massive rig's to gigs when you can do the same job with something small and save your self the time, effort and money
16. Morning all Just wanted to say that i really think i've found the perfect combination of gear for my sound!! At last night's gig i played my Sadowsky metro through my Markbass LM3 into my cheap n cheerful Hartke 410 and it sounded awesome! With everything on the amp set flat i was just tweaking the EQ and pickup pan on the bass to fine tune the sound for each song There's something about this combination of gear that really cuts through the mix big time! i love it! i still cant believe how great these Hartke cabs sound for £120! ive had cabs that cost £800 that didnt sound as good IMO (thats why i now have two of them!!) Also they're light enough for me to carry all my gear from the car/van to the venue in one go! who needs NEO cabs ey!!? haha Has anyone else found their perfect match?
17.
I got such bad GAS for an MS4.
Me too! I want a white MS4!! But i'd then order a black scratchplate with it so it had that alleva kinda vibe! Ive done the same with my sunbursth RS4 and its great! I like the extra space between the controls on the MS / RS Models
18.
Id like a Metro thats under £1800!
Buy a second hand one for about half the money
19.
I need Sadowsky back in my life
I need a third sadowsky in my life!!
20. For that kind of budget i'd reccomend Hartke amps / cabs Great value for money and great all round performance
