5.
yep been using them for 2 years now and only on my second set, they really last for ages and hold their tone as they don't fill up with crap. the coating takes a long time to even show its coming off and they still have a pretty long useable life once they do start to shed their skin (a bit like normal string life then) certianly worth the money i my opinion. which reminds me i'm about due to get a new set
+1 great strings!! used them for years now! tried every other brand out there and these have the longest life of all of them! the only other strings i use are DR hi beams as they're brighter sounding and a little more flexible but dont last as long or feel as smooth as elixirs! go for it mate, get yourself a set
 6. WOW!! totally insane prices on the warwicks!!! i only wish i still liked them enough to get such a bargin!!! a streamer stage 1 for 799!! thats just maddness!!

 11.
Can't comment on Sadowsky, but do prefer 'black' basses in general .. having some Big Singles in a custom jazz so will let you know what I think of em when it's done & will A/B it with Warmoth jazz (wizard 84's). Si
ooooh i'd like to here your opinions on the big singles for definate!!
 12.
Chris im in the same boat. i would like a sadowsky, but unlike you im not sure if i can stretch to an NYC. I love the Ice Blue or the Black..very understated. Sorry to throw the spanner in the works but these are tasty also!!
yeah the ice blue has been near the top of my list for a while! well i already have a metro UV70 (which is fanbloodytastic) so i thought why not go mad n get an NYC too!! im still not 100% sure i can afford it but once ive ordered there's no going back!!! by the time it gets here i'll be selling everything i own (apart from my metro) lol that candy apple orange certainly is a striking colour!! hmmmmmmmm
 13. hi ok so im thinking of taking the plunge, paying the $500 deposit, ordering my bass and then saving like crazy till it arrives! ive decided on a jazz body with either the P/J pickups or maybe the big singles! i just cant decide on a colour!!! i do know that i want a matching headstock......something like this (bit of an odd colour) http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/4507.html or this http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/4888.html or maybe this (wow) http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/feat_4017.html ooh and this is pretty sexy http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/feat_4332.html please bare in mind that im not into fancy body woods and figured tops! its a once in a life time thing and i'd like some opinions because at the moment there's just tooooo much choice! lol here's the options and prices for anyone thats interested in getting one cheers
