1.
I didn't realise Sound Control stocked these! I need a compressor apparently. Somebody recommended me to get one to punch through the mix more. Im not too sure but I sure wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these babies and trying one out!
yeah its definatley worth a try mate as far as i know this unit works best when used in the effects loop of your amp! compressors do take a lot of experimenting at first and can be hard to get to grips with so dont give up on it if you dont understand it at first! (im no expert but if it sounds good to you then it is good!!) i just use it to keep my finger style playing in check and then when i play slap it really kicks in! makin pretty heavy slap playin possible without it gettin out of control loud!!! i used it again tonight and for me its sounds just great, ive had a few compressor pedals( ebs, aphex) and i much prefer this to both of them! good luck with it mate
 2. hey i just bought this from sound control today!! http://www.dbxpro.com/266XL/266XL.php i have to say that its amazing value!! i got mine for 75 quid!! brand new!! just check the spec for yourself!! took it to a fairly low level band practice tonight and hooked it up to the effects loop of my trace combo and it sounds really good! pretty comprehensive controls for all you fine tuning people out there but its also a few buttons on it that make gettin a good overall sound a breeze!! worth a try for anyone looking for something versitile becauase its two channel with both XLR and normal jack inputs and outputs! so it will work with anything!! good for the studio 2 i'd imagine!! get your self one and see what you think
 3.
lol, im picking up the red 'ray tonight and now I want your Fender too. I need more bass hooks on my wall. 12. hi over the last ten years ive been on a seemingly never ending search for the right bass for me, i have had everything!! trust me!! now i finally feel settled with my jazz basses! so this beautiful stingray has been sat in its case not being used!! which is a shame! ive owned this lovely bass from new (july 2007) its a 2007 4 string model in trans red, maple board, 3 band, black plate, musicman hardcase out of all the stingrays i tried that day in sound control this one stood out a mile mainly because of its quality fit and finish and lovely light weight!! so........ what im after is either a cash sale of around £700 or trades ****EDIT**** IF SOMEONE GIVES ME £650 FOR THIS SO I DONT HAVE TO SELL IT THROUGH EBAY I'LL BE A HAPPY MAN!!**** i have found a bass i want to buy and im half way through agreeing a deal so please help me complete it guys! cheers chris
