2.
And another thing Don't think I haven't spotted you getting perverse enjoyment from using two of your favourite words, namely 'gusset' and 'moist' in the same sentence One mention of the word 'crevice' and I may need to resort to physical violence
Get thee behind me annoying woman or I shall cast THEE unto a moistened firey crevice that will singe your gusset for all eternity. Know that I am on a holy quest to rid the world of the ungodly believers in 'old Bass' and thou shalt not get in my way, lest thee desire un-naturally warm underwear. So sayeth the messenger of 'new Bass'
 3.
Nay, I defy thee SINMAN If I catch you anywhere near any gussets, angelic, moist, or otherwise the divine creature known as 'Lady T' will henceforth be remodelled into firewood
Oh sh*t!!!!
 4.
No, that's it! I'm so deeply offended reason hath deserted me!! The name of the Lord ith being taken in vain!!! The doors of Heavenly Paradise are henceforth shut to all humanity until you, SINMAN repenteth and go forth into the wilderness and pluck for me from the fiery bush a Mojo-laden yet somehow entirely pristine NOS '55 Precision and send it to: Pastor Billy Bob Spittoon Latterday Church of Non-Believers 15, The Council Houses Cemetary Crescent Littlehampton And this just in from God - as with dogs, all basses go to heaven - even Hondos.
Nay!!!! I defy thee SKANKDEVIL. Take thee and thy Fenders, with their hardware from Matalan and spend thine eternity wandering in the wilderness in search of a Godly instrument with which to lay down thy hot licks. For lo, it shall come to pass that I shall sit at the right hand of our Lord, shaking the very foundations of the earth and moistening the Angelic Hosts gussets with my fine and cleverly constructed tool of the low end. For ye should know this, believers in the false God that is called Fender, thou shalt not enter the heavenly Bass Gallery until thee repent and pay the Prophet Shuker that he may build me another of his fine instruments.
 5.
...and so another theological warfare thread begins
I do hope not. That certainly wasn't my intention. I was merely commenting on the statement about God taking a Fender player to sit at his right hand. Certainly no insult intended
 6. Yeah, I thought about what I'd typed after I'd posted it. I just couldn't be bothered to change it. I thought I'd wait for some clever dick to come along and pick holes in it.
 7.
You could sell them on saying Amy Winehouse had sneezed on them !!!
Now that is the funniest thing I've heard in ages
 8.
If we're talking about Bass Heaven - well, look unto the Good Book for guidance, wherein it is written in the Old Testament: "He who takes unto himself a Fender, yea even unto a 'previously cherished' Squier Badz Maru, is thrice-blessed by the Lord and shall sit upon His right hand for all eternity, yet he who worships at the Altar of The German Antichrist shall be cast screaming into the lake of fire where they shall roast until Judgment Day (and no inconsiderable time thereafter). So saith the Lord." Book of Rehoboam - Chap 8 vs 23
Now, that really is positive evidence that the Old Testament is full of fairy tales
 9.
Nope -1 on the Herc. I had one, first time I used it, it collapsed causing minor damage to a new ric and my fender P. The device to hold the centre stand was not man enough to handle 2 basses imo. I use 2 micro stands good enough for gigs.
I had the same problem with the first one that I had. Luckily it was before I got my Shuker. Still, I was furious. It was replaced and I've had no problems whatso ever with it. They are good stands, I reckon they must have just had a faulty batch.
 10. Hrmmm, interesting. Is it possible for you to do a 24 fret Jazz?
 11. It would also be nice if they gave it 24 frets
 12.
It's supposed to be available after January and I think it's all being wrapped up with Sound Tech pretty soon.
Well it will be great if it happens that quick, I've got serious GAS for that amp.
 13.
I think they're going with Korg.
Yeah, that's what I was told. God knows when all that's going to be sorted, until that time I'm going to have to take your advice and be patient
 14.
sshhh! Mrs T will hear you
Not if we whisper
 15.
Tinman, is it your 4 string buck-eye on the Shuker site? That was the one that made me ask about the Buck-eye. A beauty for sure Cheers, T [/quot Yes mate, that's mine. I got the idea for Buckeye from seeing Doods 6. It's a stunning facing wood. I got Jon to give me matching everything but I went for more of the yellow than I think you have. I'm really interested in seeing how yours turns out, who knows, one day, in the not to distant (don't tell the wife......please ) I may just get myself another Buckeye beauty.
 16.
Maybe people are getting the Kilo confused with the LH1000.
Nope....the kilo is available in the States and has been for a little while. This is the US Hartke website showing the Kilo http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...3&brandID=3 Whereas the UK site (soundtech) does not. It's all down to some random politics between distributors.
 17.
When you sold be your BTB555 I thought I understood that you had decided that 4 strings was the way to go...??? By the way, thanks again for that bass, it's GRRRRREAT!
Mate, I'm really chuffed that you're getting on with it. To a degree I regret not having a 5 but I just can't handle them (neck width) However, what I really should do is modify my Ibanez 4 to B-E-A-D, that then would cover all angles. Pete
 18.
It's true, they haven't even gone into production, so I hear.
Apparently you can get them in the States, which is a fat lot of use.
 19.
Have you tried project music in Exeter? http://www.projectmusic.net/hartke-kilo-3207-p.asp
There are a few places showing this amp. However, from the horses mouth (unless the rep that was telling my friendly shop owner was full of crap) nowhere in Europe will be getting them for quite some time. All I can say is watch this space.
 20.
Best things come to those who wait
w - a - i - t hrmmmmm nope, you've lost me
 21. WOOHOO, more Buckeye loveliness. You will NOT be sorry fella, I can assure you Edit: Jons preamp is superb, hugely versatile.
 22. Update: Was told by the fella in the know, that due to some argument between Samson Tech (Uk Harkte Distributors) and Korg (who are taking over distribution) that the Kilo is not coming to Europe for the foreseeable future So no try out for me. What the hell am I going to get that appears that versatile dammit.
 23. Nice one BM, looking forward to seeing it in all it's glory mate Pete
 24.
Let us know if you resist temptation or not
Hmm, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that
 25.
Looks like a cock pit in a plane I didn't think the Kilo was available for a while yet.
You're right DV are showing them, as are Thomann. The rep certainly didn't say anything about not being able to get them and the guy that owns the shop is under the impression that it'll be there fairly soon. We'll see I guess
