1. Anyone know where I can get one in the UK for a reasonable price? I know you can get them in the States but I can't seem to find them over here. Edit: Just checked the US Hartke site and it appears they do a cover for the 410XL but not the 4.5XL. (bugger). So if anyone knows someone who could make me one for a reasonable price please let me know.
 2. If we're talking about someone who stands back and never makes a fuss, then it's got to be Cliff Williams. You never see him but you sure know he's there.
 3. I've ordered a tort one from WDmusic. It's 4 ply and is costing £33.90 with postage. It hasn't arrived yet but I only ordered it on Monday.

 11.
He didn't mention anything about moving
When I spoke to him a little while ago, he was talking about moving to a place in Derbyshire which is nearer home for him. He's fed up with the break-in attempts, floods and the drive he has to do to get there.
 12.
I'd just about calmed down. I'd got back to sleeping through the night ok. ...and now you guys have got me all excited again
Be prepared for 3 months or so of that mate
 13. Nice one! I's all happening for Jon at the minute. BTW Did he happen to talk about if or when he's moving out of the place he's in at the minute?

 16.
Heh .. once I know when I'm going to get the bass I'll PM you and get some details. I'm tied up this coming Saturday (fairly typical that) so it will slip to the following week at the earliest. Possibly another week on top. We'll have to see how work/family stuff pans out.
Thanks mate
 17. Hey Darren Great news on you bass mate. I don't suppose you fancy taking your camera with you when you go. I could really do with some updates on mine and I don't like to keep bugging Jon about it.

She still owes me for standing on yoru sholder dressed in red with tail and pitchfork whispering "shhhhhuker" in your ear ...
I'd hide if I was you mate, she has a list of culprits lined up for that one and I think that you maybe somewhere near the top of it!
Well you'd have probably gone and got your self some of those flashy light things up the neck as well so that's saved you about 300 quid (and two broken arms and a few teeth I guess ... )
Yeah, probably and that may have been one step too far Hopefully the pickguard will be with me sometime this week. I'll post pics when it's arrived and fitted. Cheers guys Pete
 19. 20.
^what's wrong with WD?

http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/home/index.php Si
Yeah, looked at them and it appears they don't do tortoiseshell.
 21.
The tortie is defo worth a shiner - white looks sh*te!
Why thank you Ferret, I'll remember that if we ever meet Update: Sims are closed for summer hols 'til 13th of August. Bugger, I wanted it yesterday!!!
 22. Thanks OG, I've sent a message to Sims about the tortoiseshell guard. Sibob and Spike, where did you get your pickguards from?
 23.
+ 1 for tortie & black eye
So you'd be happy for the wife to give me a black eye would you? That's nice that is. That's very nice. Harumph.
 24.
I put a Tort scratchplate on mine as well, makes it look a bit 'vintage'

Heres an action pic of the Tort s'plate Looks much nicer then the white plate, IMO white only looks good when its aged and 'vintage', so basically not white haha Would look cool with a black s'plate to i reckon! Si
The tort does look good. Si, I was thinking about black too. Hmm, food for thought.
 25.
I'm now wondering what you would look like with a black eye
I'll deal with you later madam!
