2.
Oh have you! You'll LOVE it
Yup, yup, yup :brow:
3.
A guitar sub-forum would be useful, IMO. But all we'd talk about would be Telecasters.
Haha, no we wouldn't. I can't think of any reason why I would want to talk about those, or their cousin Stratocrapster
4. Another +1 for OBBM You shouldn't use instrument leads as speaker cables. I'm sure some technically minded member will come on and explain why.
5.
..............And you can't whistle the tunes.
That reminds me of modern jazz
6. Your girlfriend Colin? That's a strange name for a girl.
7.
The Big One would work fine with a LMII @ 6 ohms. That said, if you want to go really loud, you'd probably want to put more power into a Big One than the LMII can provide.
Or do what I've done and order a vintage
8. I tried to find in-depth specs on the Line 6 HD 400, particularly what would give you the full 400 watts from it. All I can find from anywhere is that it's 400W. From that I can only surmise that it would be 400W @ 4Ohms. The cab in the ad is an 8Ohm cab and as such your output power would be considerably reduced. You need a 4Ohm cab. The second ad would work but it would depend on what you're up against.
9. I've seen black nail varnish mentioned on here before. Also, a lot will say don't bother, it's mojo apparently
10.
RCD + a Belkin style 4-way surge protection socket should be more than enough for you to feel happy that you and your gear is protected...
+1 That's exactly what I use, no matter whether the electrics are good or not. You can never be too careful.
11. There's a thread in this same forum about a Sabre 900. Yours look pretty close
12. No apologies necessary there for sure. Great song, great line. Enjoy
13. I take it you have proof that the signatures are genuine.
14. Yep, the US Jazz that Beerdragon just sold. Mind you, I sold it to help fund my Shuker. Still regret it though
15.
wow you're wife is special, usually wives and girlfriends are happy when basses are sold!!
This I know Sorry for the hijack BD Pete
16. Yep, I agree with all the above. I recently bought my first Stingray (HH) and love it. Yes it is completely different to anything I've played before, both in feel and sound but it is amazing and I don't think I'll ever sell it.
17. I can vouch that this is a superb bass. I instantly regretted selling it to be honest. So much so that the wife got pissed off with me and is loathed to let me sell anything now. Have a free bump Beerdragon, all the best Pete
18. Good plan Sir. Very good plan
19. "perfectly tuned" Wow, this is a snip at that prics
