Hello folks, I'm offering for sale my old Ashdown ABM. I bought it about 10 years ago but upgraded my setup about 7 years ago so it has just been my spare amp since then, and hardly used. After having accumulated gear over the years I realised that it's just taking up space in my cupboard so I'm now looking to sell. It's in good working condition, although there are a couple of battle scars (see below) hence the very low pricing. (I believe rrp is approx £600 at the moment) The sub harmonic knob has broken off. There is a small tear in one of the speaker cones. I don't know how this happened (I discovered it by accident) but I noticed it several years ago and it has not affected the sound quality, nor got any bigger in that time. So in short it's a great sounding amp for rehearsals, pub gigs and the like. If you are just starting gigging and want a good quality amp for a small wedge, this could well be the amp for you. Hello all, For sale is my trusty GK combo, the industry standard double bass amp and bass guitar practice amp. These amps are so well known, I'm sure everyone knows what they are looking at. In case you don't, in a sentence it's a great 'plug and play' hassle free combo for double bass gigs, in very light and portable aluminium enclosure. I bought this combo a few years ago, and whilst it has seen a fair bit of action, it has been my spare amp for much of that time. I am selling because I've just acquired a new AI combo, and this takes care of the 'small and portable' option very nicely, so the GK is surplus to requirements. Everything works fine except the speaker on/off switch on the back panel. This broke off a while ago, and while the switch still works, you need a pen or something to poke into the hole. Yes the octaver is PHAT and no matter how loud you have the amp cranked the cab always seems to cope! I've never had two cabs connected but it must sound pretty blistering.....

thanks munkonthehill, Yes that was me. Although I was asking a bit more on ebay! It's so expensive to sell on there these days. I guess it would be a bit trickier for you in Scotland-maybe your best bet would be to put it in a shop? Matt
