smudger

Hi ,i'm Smudger from Essex. My birth certificate says i'm 48 but I swear to you i'm 32 ok :-) not picked a Bass up for over twenty years and even back in those days I was only really mucking about with it indoors and regrettably gave up all to easy... I've a little more time on my hands now and more hours than I care to mention listening to early Level42 and stuff has awoken my 'inner' Mark King lol.... so.....was looking to find a nice easy BASS to start with and ended up buying one from BlueSkyNoise ,that's how I found BASSCHAT! An Ibanez GSR200 in Black with a couple of scratches here and there and a wobbly 'tone' control which i've since fixed with a teaspoon (so thats what they are really for) and an 11mm socket. Amp is another Ibanez (IBZ10) totally unsuitable me thinks though it'll get me going whilst I slap and plonk my way to victory haha.
