1. You checked the pick up distance? Would be my first port of call, if it's too high E side could be causing the problem. It could be a fault with a pot still but I don't know how you could check that maybe even the output jack is a bit damaged? If in doubt take it to a local luthier.
2. Bought one of these and put it on my jazz bass. Reason I bought it was because i thought my bridge cover would fit over it and fit in my existing holes..... Well it didn't lol. I love the bridge but don't want to drill the extra two holes and because my cover doesn't fit anyway I may as well get the gotoh 201. This is brand new with box and screws, would preferably trade for a gotoh 201 maybe with some cash your way otherwise £25 Inc postage to my paypal account as long as you cover fees.
3. These really are great basses, I've owned the vm fretless and I muched preferred this!!
4. Revised trade options, would prefer straight sale.
5. It's a shame I have no use for 5 strings it's actually a really nice looking bass!!
6. Great guy to deal with!! Paid straight away can't ask for more!!
7. Bought some of this stuff from the states, it's great!!! I'd recommend this over any other product, specially wire wool!! Took literally a few minutes to do a whole fretboard and buff it up, bit of lemon oil to top of as well. I think it cost me about a tenner and a pack will do 20 basses/guitars. You can't go wrong!! Only downside is I probably wouldn't use it on my maple board without taping off the wood, if the frets are particularly manky it just spreads the filth all over, on a nice maple board it MAY not come out. I don't particularly want to be testing it either! If anyone else has any experience using this on a maple board I would be interested to hear it.
8.
I'm thinking about a bridge cover.
What sort of cover precision style or jazz style?? Precision style might look ok, I don't think I would do it personally. Still thinking black scratchplate!! nice basses though, are they all fender/squiers?
9. Yeah i'd mainly be using these to increase the depth of the nuts rather than enlarging them.
10. Anyone on here bought a neck off of CH Guitars on ebay?? Was wondering if they are any good because they have a nice maple with black blocks neck that maybe a future purchase if money permits!
11. What files do you use? the specifically made guitar nut files are ridiculously expensive, can I get cheaper ones??
12. how did this pedal work out??
13. i can't work out whether a black pick guard on the green bass would make it even better!!
14. Possibly one of the nicest looking fretless basses I've seen, seems like a really good price for both those basses too. I reckon someone should snap up a bargain!!
15. Bought a fresh set of strings from Nick, received quickly and well packaged, top guy to deal with!!
16. I honestly have no idea. I have no scales indoors either. It's lighter than my 98 mexi jazz I reckon around 9lb mark.
17. Right new pictures are now up, the one of the back is particulalry shabby lol, the plastic film is still on the battery cover if your worried bout what that is
18. I'm timing this......
19.
We should have a temporary selling ban for those that intentionally hide details on a completed sale threads. I have done it in the past but only because I thought that was the thing to do. I soon realised that in doing so, it is blatantly unhelpful to the community that provided an arena for the sale in the first place.
To be honest I've been guilty of deleting the contents of the thread before for the same reason, I also thought I was being helpful, I don't really bother now because it is useful to know what others have sold there gear for if your selling the same thing. I do always put sold in the title somewhere as soon as I can.
20. it's all good buy it anyways!!!
