1. Considering selling this again.....
2. Someone is looking for an EBS 1x15 in the wanted section.
3. I didn't actually ask him to change the listing, he did that himself and fairly quickly. So I'll give him the benefit of doubt. Be nice if everyone on there would change their listings once someone point out an 'error'!!!
4. I asked the seller and he said it is a Warwick Rockbass.
5. And don't forget that also whilst not knowing much about it he does know that 'It is certainly no cosseted bedroom bass - this has been a working musicians' instrument from new - it has been played, gigged, tweaked & upgraded (including a replacement neck with rosewood fingerboard) and has earned it's keep!' Can't believe you can actually see where the old logo was in the photo!!
6. Still something nice about the old Overwaters though
7. Crikey, that is a ridiculous price.
8. You can get control plates off eBay with just three holes in them that they have for vol, tone and jack. You could use one of these for your vol/treble/bass and continue to use the jack on the side of the bass. Just a thought..... Here's a link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-POT-FULLY-LOADED-CONTROL-PLATE-MUSICMAN-BASS-ETC-CHROME-/150740023426?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2318ce3882
9. If you do decide to split any of it, I like the look of the top scratchplate, some pots and the two silver tuners... Cheers
10. Used to be mine this one before I traded it with MB1 (for a ABM500 head). Cracking amp and faultless condition. If I had the room and money, I'd have it back!! Have a bump
11. Bought a footswitch off Gareth. Perfect condition, quick delivery - a really easy deal. Would definitely buy stuff off him again without hesitation. Cheers again.
12. The pre-amp is a small metal box the same size as a 9v battery and located in the battery compartment. There is a hole in the top of it for level adjustment (if I remember correctly). If the level is set the same as passive mode, you might not hear a lot of difference. The bass I had had volume, volume and tone controls and the pre-amp just made it a bit louder - I can't remember it making much difference apart from having a higher output, but still sounded good. Cheers Jez
13. Bought a pick-up from Gavin. Just as he said and really fast delivery. Cheers again. Jez
14. I bought both cabs from k-3 a few months back. Cheers J.
15. Bob's a really friendly and helpful bloke. Have a bump on me!! Cheers Jez
16. All PM's replied to. Apologies to all for my slow response.
17. Cheers guys for all the replies but this has now been sent on its way. Apologies for not replying to everyone but I got quite a few requests!! J.
18. The good bit I got a pre-amp module from on old Hohner B2A headless bass if anyone wants it. It did work when removed but has just sat in a box of bits for the last 10 years..... It was out of the bass that Volume/Volume/Tone controls (not the later versions). The bad bit Some of the wires have come off the module and I don't have a wiring diagram for it If you can make use of this just drop me a mail Cheers
19. Bump for changes to original post!
