1. Sold Pete my J-Retro pre-amp. Completely hassle free and great communication. Many thanks Pete and I hope you get plenty of use out of it. Cheers J.
2. Thought I'd start a feedback thread as I've bought and sold a few things now....and long may it continue!! Cheers J.
3. Just a feeler at the moment but I've got an SWR WorkingPro 210c combo I'm thinking of selling. I'm only thinking of selling it as I've got enough stuff (too much stuff??!!) and this just does not get used. It's in excellent condition - one small scratch about 1 cm on the grille but that's about it. Still got the instruction manual. These are really solidly built and sound great. £375 collected from Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire http://www.swrsound.com/products/search.ph...rtno=4452600010 Might be open to trade for a small head (Genz/Mark Bass) or similar. Open to suggestions Cheers J.
4. Bought this on a whim a little while ago but have hardly used it – maybe a couple of hours max! Thought I’d have a go at lead guitar but didn’t even get started - four strings (or five) for me only!! Really nice looking guitar in mint condition except one small scratch on the front of the headstock. Comes with tremalo arm. Best price I've found on eBay for one of these is £121 - I'm looking for a £70 for this collected from Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. Cheers J.
5. Are you interested in any trades at all for a different amp and a bit of cash?
6. Sorry, sold now
will give you £85 including postage to exeter. [email protected] phil
7. Hi, are these still available? Whereabouts in North London are you located? Cheers
8. Hi, Sorry but these have now sold. I wouldn't claim to know that much about pickups either but if you are looking at EMGs in the future, I personally think they are great pickups. I'd say these active pickups are modern sounding (I used them in combination with an East J-Retro pre-amp, which I'd also recommend but you could argue it gives you too many options for tone). I liked them for slap (even though I'm not too good at it!) and fingerstyle - really nice for more trebly pieces. What is nice with the EMGs is the way they are shielded - you don't connect the earth wire to the bridge that can sometimes give you hum when you take your hands on and off the strings - the EMGs are really quiet. Regards J.
9. Bump - pics added and up for sale or tade
10. Hi, This model has screw terminals for the pickup cables. Cheers J.
11. Hi, I've got an East J Retro 01 pre-amp for a jazz bass for sale. Great bit of kit, only selling as I'm getting rid of the bass it was installed in (I had this in a Squire Affinity Jazz bass along with a pair of EMG pickups - both items also for sale). Pre-amp is in good condition - theres some fine surface scratches on the chrome plate but really minor (barely noticable once you have fingerprints on it!!) Looking for £100 plus postage Cheers
12. Hi, I've got a set of EMG Jazz Bass pickups for sale. I bought these a while ago without the cables or pots so I made up a new set and installed these with an East Retro pre-amp (see my other stuff for sale) in a Squier Affinity Jazz Bass (yep, also for sale..). The pickups are in good condition - a couple of really small scratches on the front face (there are a few marks on the sides from the mounting screws but these aren't really noticable once installed). Anyway, these things are to be used not looked at!! Looking for £50 plus postage. Cheers!!
