1. Now that's quality. Imagine pulling that bugger out for a set down at the Dog and Duck on a Saturday night.
2. Yeah we played in a large sports hall kind of venue last night. The sound was like mush, bouncing off the brick walls and high metal ceiling, but by boosting mids and highs I had a really great tone to my ears. I did find myself dropping a bit more bottom end in later on too as the sound was a bit thin for a couple of songs, but then I like a nice bright click anyway. I feel that those who like a low end thump type tone struggle more than those of us who like it a bit brighter.
3. Yeah I'm up for whatever, Alan's OK too hopefully, I'll PM him.
4.
Just let me have a go on that soon!
You're most welcome any time mate.
5. Why thank you sir. I owe you a contribution post sale actually......
6. Rubbish pictures from my phone, but I assure you the bass itself is magnificent. Outstanding build quality and detail, Swamp Ash body, Quilted Maple top, Ebony Pickup covers and fretboard, Aero pickups and Bartolini pre. Think Adam Nitti in terms of tone and you're about there. Punchy, fantastic scooped mids for some jazz funk, but plenty of mids to drop back in for a rockier type of tone. Nice and light, and ergonomically perfect for me with great access all the way up and down the board. Beautiful, beautiful bass. I regretted letting my Overwater go recently, but this makes up for that and then some. Wish I could afford the fretless version Eubassix has for sale too, but alas not.
7. Outstanding transaction and another outstanding bass as usual. David is a top chap and is highly recommended to all.
8. I'd just like to point out, that I've bought the fretted version of the two Kinal basses David had to sell. I've had many different basses over the years and I can say hand on heart that my Kinal is maybe the best quality bass I've had my hands on, it's beautiful. The attention to detail is unreal, and the love and care that go into making these basses is obvious. Outstanding build quality, ergonomically perfect and a tone to die for. If I had the cash, I'd be jumping on this fretless too.
9. Thank the lord . Very happy with my choice, but I'm relieved you shifted this all the same, otherwise I'd have been extending my overdraught again.
10. Great basses, love the Hofner, two years older and it'd be the same age as me.
11. Very very nice bass. I'm into these smaller luthiers, that looks like a quality job to me.
12. Rayman

Prick

Looks like an early Marcus Miller prototype. Pass the bucket someone..........
13.
And you get to see Preston, where the M6 is cobbled It's about time you visited Russ and Alan, 2 new basses, both 4 stringers though.
Just thinking the same Peter. I'll have a new one to show you too. We'll set it up in the next week or two.
14. Super super stunning bass this, seriously. Me and Al have been through some tackle over the last few years, but I picked this bass up recently and after half a dozen notes I fell in love with it. I reckon this is one of the best basses Alan's had, by far. Jump on it.
15. Very very nice mate, I'm looking forward to having a try on that. My search goes on...... ........the 78 P and the Villex jazz are now both sold. I'm missing the low B of the Overwater, should never have sold that bass.
16. I loved my white Epi TB. Apart from the neck dive, which I soon got used to, there were no issues at all. I expected to have to pimp the guts, but out of the box it sounded massive, and the neck was a really lovely too. Great bass indeed. A mate of mine has a Tokai version, and yes, it's very nice indeed. Does the glues neck make a difference? I guess some would argue that the sustain is better, but other than that I don't believe there's a big difference between the two in terms of build. My Epi was genuinely as nice to play as a couple of Gibsons I tried, and I would strongly argue that the tone was right up there too. Value for money of course goes without saying.
17.
Will U ship international if someone would send U a flightcase to use it for the shipping?
Possible, however I have a few possible sales over here, which I'd prefer, but only time will tell.
18.
Blimey Russ,
I know mate, it's all gone a bit mad today. I should add, the original strap buttons will be put back on in place of the Dunlops currently on there. PMs replied to thanks.
19. Something has cropped up in the last hour or so, and this has to go, against my better judgement. All original as far as I am aware, although the pickup ashtray is NOT as I put that on myself. The pickups are marked as 1979s and the neck is a '78 so that makes it an early '79 model I guess. THERE'S NO CASE, so I need to meet you somewhere within reason to make the exchange, I'm near Manchester. Cash only at this stage please. I think £900 is a fair price. SOLD PENDING THE USUAL.
20. Sounds like a storming bit of kit, we'll be needing pictures though, bass & case.
21.
Nice - for some reason, to me the only bass that looks good in blue is one of these!
Yeah you're right, I'm not a fan of blue either, but that looks very tasty.
22. Of course, as a Hammers fan, you should be buying the Steve Harris Precision .
23. Had 'em both, and they are both superb basses for any knid of music you want to play on them. Rock, jazz, pop, funk anything you like on either bass. Very simillar basses apart from the pre on the Marcus, in fact pretty much identical. The bass player from Opeth (metal) uses as Marcus and the bass player from Crowded House (pop) uses a Geddy to give two examples. Superb build, tone, playability on either model, but you need to go and try them. Seriously, go and try them out. You can play any music on any bass period.
