I used to have quite a few old BBs and take my word for it, they're class, a future classic. If you like Yams, and you want a Precision tone, that bass has your name on it..........trust me.

    GAK have always been OK with me, but I did buy a Roland D-Bass combo from an online company called Rocking Rooster. The amp was shown in stock and I paid for it online there and then. The next day I recieved a phone call from them stating it would be at least 8 weeks before they would get the amp from Roland as they were out of stock due to the popularity of the product. Once I'd said on yer bike I want my money back, they offered me various simillar amps as an alternative. Needless to say, I declined and got my money back. Buying strings and parts online is great, but buying anything more substantial and valuable always makes me nervous.

    My little DB500 was utterly outstanding, I still miss it, this being another rung up the ladder must be brilliant. Superb amps.

    I didn't actually. I expected the strings to be tighter, but they really aren't, it's one of the most comfortable basses I've ever played, it's just got one too many strings for me. The low B is killer.

    For sale, is my [i]beautiful[/i] Overwater. 5 stringer, mahogany body, Pear wood top, through 36" scale neck with purple heart stripes. An instrument of the highest quality and out of my league to be honest. Recently been back to the factory for an ebony ramp to be fitted (not seen in pics), which is only stuck down with double sided tape between the pickups, easily removable, and leaves no marks. SOLD.

    Good basses. I have one as a backup for my Overwater for gigs. Definately worth the money. The only issues I had with mine were a noisey treble pot and a lousy nut. Once sorted out it's a cracking bass. Surprisingly powerful bottom end on mine.
