1. I'd love to get my old BB3000S back someday, well done on getting a nice bass back, and don't make the same mistake again !!
2. I love Sandbergs, especially these relic jobs. Never had one, but tried plenty. Very very nice indeed.
3. I'll be there, best £20 you'll spend this year. Shame Adam isn't there, but Yolanda's worth the money on her own. Pris, is Stevie doing a set this year? I really hope so, even better with the band, he's stolen the show for me on previous occasions. Anyone sees a big numpty wandering about looking confused, come and say hello.
4. Only one word you need to know, Villex. http://www.villex.com/dealers_europe.html
5. Personally, I'd be looking at one of the following: ACG custom build Bongo HH Sterling 5er Jaydee MK WAL or an investment in a 70's Fender. There's a few basses I've always dreamed about, Jaydee MK, 70's Jazz, but top of the list is a WAL. I will have one before I die.
6. Well I'll throw in my two penneth, I enjoyed the Friendly fires, I thought they were quite original and I enjoyed the song. Tom Jones was brilliant of course, although I'd stop dying the hair Tom. Snow Patrol were as dull as dishwater, and by far the worst act on the show, the rest of it I enjoyed, including the mad lady in the fishnets.
7.
Villex pickups. They will give you the tone you are after, and then some www.villex.com
Enough said.
8. Ahh nice one, thanks.
9. Does anyone know of somewhere I could get a decent cover for my Fender Pro 400 combo?
10. There you go: http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Y...ter~ID~3876.asp
11. How much is a BB615? Very nice basses Yamaha, no question.
12. Tobias basses are very nice. I have an OLP Tony Levin at home for messing around on, and that's a great bass.
13. Here's my new gig setup: Roll on Saturday night.
14. I've had the pleasure of playing this bass, and it is, quite simply, stunning. If you ever fancied an Aerodyne, this is the one, don't miss it.
15. Nice set up there, I'll be thinking along the lines of a 5er at some point, or even a Bongo 6.
16. I've got ruddy jazz guards coming out of my ears, none of them are white though I don't think, just black or tort.
17. Bargain.......brilliant bags, I wouldn't use anything else.
18. POINTBLANK Live @ Moses Gate, Bolton, Friday Oct 24th (with UFO Tribute) Ship Inn, Macclesfield, Saturday Oct 25th Derby Arms, Colne, Saturday Nov 1st More to come........................
19. Superb, I'd love one of these, but never had the cash when one came up on the bay. I personally wouldn't worry about the scale. It is what it is, and I wouldn't be looking to alter an already great bass, just enjoy it how Jack intended it to be.
20. Drop Dead Gorgeous.......................droooooool.
21. Ashdown Perfect 10, in great nick. I've used it once as an emergency combo for rehearsing while I found a new rig. I rehearsed with it on Monday night, in the studio, with the band, and it held it's own pretty well. It's only 30W, but was great for practise, loud for its size, and some very useable tones indeed, I was genuinely very impressed with this little amp. It's quite heavy, so it's collection or delivered by me (within reason, NW England, Midlands), not posted. I'm just after my money back without profit, so it's yours for 50 quid. SOLD pending.
22. ................somebody................pleeeease put me out of my misery and buy this.
