1. Yes, to confirm..... the sunburst Rob DeLeo model is now sold. So, just the black one left. Hit me up with any offers for it, trade wise, I'm flexible ish.
2. Ok, looks like the sunburst one might be on it's way out... so the black one is still available thus far.
3. Yep, they're belters. I would be interested in a Jazz or a Stingray too.
4. WITHDRAWN I have used these two basses extensively over the last 6 months with the band, and recorded with them too. They're awesome basses, they sound and play amazing, but I'm after another Fender Precision. Various pictures can be seen here too: http://www.crisis-rock.co.uk/ The black one is the standard Korean made one, with the SD QP pickups The Sunburst one is also Korean, but is the Robert De Leo model and has duncan designed pickups. Both basses are unaltered. There a few light dings but nothing major. I'd value them both at £350 each, There is no case with either. I'm in Macclesfield, and delivery within reason is possible, post is not out of the question, but I'd rather not, I'd rather meet. They were used on our recent EP, and sounded magnificent. One or both for cash, trade, I'm open to suggestions, but it's a P bass I'm after.
5. We've put our new stuff up on Soundcloud via our website: www.crisis-rock.co.uk The Silence Is Deafening, Let Her Go, Into The Black, The Long Walk.... Have a listen, I'd value your opinions....
6. A question for the tekkies....Do non valve amps need servicing? I have an Ashdown ABM 500H 2X10 combo, an older forerunner of the EVO series. Last night the horn conked out, and it got me thinking, maybe the thing needs servicing (and a new horn obviously), so is this the case? Or shall I just get it repaired and carry on? There are no valves or anything to replace (I assume) so surely it's just a bunch of electrics that don't need to be serviced? Also, does anyone know any good amp repairers in the North West? I've used Dave Lunt in Stockport previously, but the last time I blew the horn on a previous amp he seemed reluctant to get involved, don't know why.

Lovely dark rosewood fretboard, great sounding Duncan pups, and nice and light. It's a superb guitar, but I'm a sausage fingered bass player, hence: £140 please. No case, but in a box, so I can post, but would rather meet/deliver within reason, as long as you're not in Devon or John o groats or somewhere!! I'm in south Manchester. It's really a lovely thing
9. Thanks all, I'm on it
10. Hi all, We're after organizing a show case gig at a London venue. Original heavy rock: www.crisis-rock.co.uk Anyone got any suggestions for somewhere central ish to approach?
11. The Steamhouse, Sale Manchester, Thursday 13th June The Millstone, Macclesfield, Saturday 22nd June The Snowgoose Live, Macclesfield, Friday 19th July Come and say hello!
12. For ME personally, if you are performing in front of people, then you should make an effort and dress up a bit and give the audience something to look at. Make the stage area (pub or club, whatever) look as professional as you can. Nothing worse than watching a band who look like they can't be arsed. IMO.
13. Sold Dunc some Quarterpounders. A true gent and highly recommended to deal with.
14. Would a guitar pedal, like a Boss DD2 or whatever work for a microphone? I want a delay option to stomp on during gigs for the lead vocals, so I want to run the mic into a pedal and punch it in and out in the same way that you do for a guitar. Would that work?

The Schecters really kicked some ass, and soooo happy to have gone back to Ashdown.........trouser flapping power.
16. Thanks pal, very much appreciated.
17. By the way...I think he plans to run the cab with an EVO 575 1x15 combo... Basically I want to know if he's ok to do that?
18. Quick question for those in the know..... I just sold an Ashdown ABM 2x10 compact. It was paired with an ABM 1x15 and was used with an ABM EVO 575 head. The buyer has pointed out that the 2x10 power rating is 200W @ 8OHMs, I'd assumed it was 300W @ 8OHMs, the same as the 1x15. Is this all ok? The buyer is concerened that 200W is not enough power handling, and that he may blow something? Any help greatly appreciated. I've never got to grips with it all to be honest.
