It's a real belter, and is a players guitar. The only issue is a dodgy 5 way switch, that would only cost a few quid to get sorted. LOVELY bass, this. I'm switching to Schecter for the band, so this P bass has to make way. 2 in, 1 out etc etc. Fender Classic 50s Precision, all original, MIM, with the tug bar added. It plays like a dream, sounds monster, and looks as sexy as a hooker in high heels walking down the Vegas strip. I've loved having this bass, and the band will NOT be impressed that I'm letting it go, but screw 'em. It's in lovely condition, save for some rubbing in the finish, presumably a result of an over active wrist action: Other than that, it's in fantastic condition, with just a couple of tiny marks on the back. It's fitted with a magic set of TI flats, my P bass string of choice, and plays really really superbly, with a relatively low action (to me at least). Rock, funk, jazz, pop...whatever your deal, this has YOUR name written on it [b]SOLD !![/b]

Best £700 you'll ever spend. Classic bass.

Really ahh ok. Mine is an '05 model, and and has SPB2 and SJB2 pickups in it. I thought they all had the same. Any road up, I'll get back to you if I can manage it financially.

Genuine SDs. The neck is a little thinner than a P bass at the nut. I love mine to bits, and I'm very tempted to add this one to the fold. I'm off to do some sums.

Dear reader, If you are browsing the ads for a tarted up, active, single cut, 6 stringed Walnut coffee table, with a wad of cash in your back pocket......... Don't waste your time or hard earned. Buy this bass, and it will give you more love, groove and soul than any toothless 2K plank can ever do, and it'll put a smile on your face, when you remember why......you picked up a [i]proper[/i] 4 stringed bass guitar in the first place. If I had £240 I would now own the bass, but I haven't. If you [i]have[/i]......what on earth are you waiting for?

For sale here are two cabs surplus to requirements. Both 8ohm, in nice condition, I've never played through them. I bought them a few months ago from an old chap up in the North East who was a jazz player I think, and he was down sizing. They're in nice clean condition, and I don't suppose he ever gave them much welly, so they're well looked after. Complete with canvas covers.[b] EDIT: £125 for the 2x10, I'm going to keep the 1x15.[/b] Obviously they're too big to post, so I can bring them to you within reason (I'm in Macclesfield), or if you're too far away, maybe we can meet halfway or something.
