1. If it's sold, then the seller should mark it as sold, it's very irritating for buyers who are keen on basses that are no longer available. Like me. I'm after a Precision myself.
2. Cracking bass it really is, surprised it hasn't gone. I'm tempted myself. Shame you're not a bit (a lot) closer.
3. Cheers Martyn, I may get back to you on that, it depends on other lines of enquiry I've got a gig Saturday, and it depends on whether or not I can find a new bass in time. The other two are going tomorrow.
4. Have any of my local buddies got a spare bass they can lend me for a while? A Precision of some sort maybe? I'd be very grateful.
5. Thank you all for the nice messages, you're very kind. Looks like both basses are now sold pending the usual.
6. It is with GREAT regret, that I must sell my pride and joy, my basses. I have been out of work for 3 months, and have incurred mounting debts, and although I have a new job, it'll be a long time before I can catch up financially. SO....groan...... Awesome to play, awesome tone, fabulous. I don't know what else to say about it. Best B string ever, Bartollinis, 35" scale, all the bass you could ever want. £900 ono Kinal MK-5: Best Jazz pickups ever made, Aeros, Ebony fretboard, hand built by Mike Kinal in Canada. It's well played, and bares a few marks, but nothing major, no big dings or anything. Fabulous Fabulous bass, and my favourite of all the countless basses I've ever had. £900 ono BOTH basses £1500, that's a cash only deal, and that's not subject to negotiation. Obviously I need cash, but trade bait would be a US Precision plus cash, nothing else thanks. I'll meet you/bring the bass to you (within reason) as I work all around the country, but obviously Cornwall or Glasgow for instance would be too far!! Thanks very much for looking.
7. Another deal done, another pleasure. Cheers geezer.
8. Spectacular basses these. I had a cheaper forerunner of this bass, an APB-5, and it was pure magic. This one must be sublime.
9. http://kinal.dreamho...m/endorsers.htm That's me with mine, the last picture in the list of endorsers. note; the Basschat T shirt
10. It'll sound, and play, better than any bass you'll ever own.
11. Martyn is a gent of the highest order. I sold him a Warwick $$, and it was a hassle free zone all the way. HIGHLY recommended.
12. As used by Dug Pinnick with Kings X on the last tour. Superb basses these. I had one a while back and was very impressed. I also understand, from Dug himself, that Schecter were thinking about a Dug sig version of this bass.
13. Trade wise, I'm after a guitar, OR a recording device, Zoom, Tascam or whatever.
14. Come on, I want this thing out o' t' road.
15. For crying out loud.....someone buy this bass, and put me out of my misery.
16. Just a quick message, aimed at people who don't do the following....... If you sell a piece of equipment on Basschat, PLEASE consider making a small donation to the cause afterwards. Running this site isn't free, and if we all chip in, it can only make the site better. To those of you who DO donate after selling stuff, good on ya! This is all just my opinion, I have no affiliation with the site (although I've been on here a long time), and I've had no contact with the mods on this subject. I just think it's something we should all at least consider.
