1.
How about a straight swap for both of them? Pictures of my Pedulla here in Basses For Sale.
Lovely bass that, it really is, but I don't need a fretless right now unfortunately.
2. Sis, I'll take a look. Karlfer, no cases with them.
3. Alas I have no cash to put in I'm afraid.
4. I'll never learn...... Two recently acquired Marcus Miller Jazz basses for trade. NOW TRADED. One white, and all original as far as I know......and one natural but modded thus: Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, Dimarzio UltraJazz Pickups , white pearl Pickguard (I include Black Original). Shielding and new potentiometers. I've had two MM Jazzes before, and it just aint my sound, simple as. Both utter crackers, in lovely condition, and with new strings. I'm looking specifically for Spectors in a trade really, after my rekindled love for all things Spector. Euro 4 or 5LX, something along those lines, but it's always worth an ask for anything else isn't it? I would trade them both together for the right bass. Value wise I'd put them at around £650 each. As always, I'd rather meet somewhere, I'm in Cheshire, as posting is such a pain, there are no cases involved either way. Fire away if you so wish...............
5. Blimey mate don't give it away! This was mine a while back, really superb bass, and worth every penny of the original asking price.
6. I took delivery of Marks awesome Spector Euro 5LX, and was blown away by it. Top bloke, hassle free transaction, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Thanks Mark
7. Musicman Stingray, the one I said I'd never sell. Totally fabulous bass, great neck,3 band EQ, a few light dings but nothing major, plays and sounds fabulous. I'm specifically after a Spector Euro 4LX in a trade, amber would be perfect, but not that bothered about colour. Sorry for being brief, I have no laptop so this is via my phone. I'm in Cheshire, but could meet within reason for the trade. Cheers all.
8. Absolutely superb !! Love it. what sort of value is it?
9. Outstanding bass from a top bloke, buy with total confidence.
10. I bought a rather splendid EBS Octaver, no fuss, no bother, top geezer.
11. Beautiful bass. I wanted it the first time, but now I'm skint .
12. Amazing gig. Incredible band, and a very very talented bunch of guys indeed, all complementing the music beautifully. Some of the interplay between them was stunning. At one point there was Bass, keys and sax on one side of the stage having their own little jam, while the drums, guitar and trumpet had their own thing going on, all within the same song, it was a joy to hear and see. The new material from the new CD "Renaissance" sounded fantastic to, so I can't wait for that either. Top man, top band, top music, and a thoroughly nice chap afterwards too. If you get the chance to go and see him, do it. Oh and top marks for the kebab after the gig, perfect ratio of meat to salad, topped with a tangy chilli sauce and rich creamy mayo, wrapped in a soft, fluffy pitta. Washed down with a chilled well known orange coloured energy drink. Perfect way to end the night.
13. Interesting. I've been playing many years, and never really noticed it before.
14. Anyone else notice their E strings going dead pretty quickly with Ernie Ball Super Slinkys? I noticed it with one of my jazzes, the other 3 strings were still nice and zingy, but the E sounded dull and lifeless. I bought a set of TI flats for that particular jazz, and happy days, it's great. THEN I noticed it on the Precision too, dull sounding E string again. These are relatively new strings we're talking about here, no more than a month old on the Jazz. Anyone have anything similar?
15. As I said, It's never over till the fat lady sings....... Two deals fall through at the last minute, so it's still available, but I'm thinking seriously of keeping it now, I don't think it wants to leave.
16.
If it's that Stratocaster... I have one exactly the same, and it's lovely.
Actually it's not, it's another bass, but, as always, it's not over 'till the deal is done.
17. OH my lord, those JVs are just beautiful. You'd have to prize those out of my cold dead hands if they were mine. Maybe the best looking pair of basses I've ever seen, and I've seen a few.
18. Thanks for the offer mate, but I'm just waiting for confirmation of a possible trade.
19. All PMs replied to, thanks for all the interest. Just to clarify, the neck was sanded by the previous owner on the back, which IMO, is in keeping with the roadworn vibe, and makes the bass so much more playable. It plays beautifully, and sounds fantastic.
20.
I'll take that as a no then....
No that is a yes
21. Yeah, the neck is fabulous, best thing about it, and really, in keeping with the roadworn theme, Fender should do it with all the RW basses IMO. It's so smooth and easy to play, it's really lovely. The only reason for moving it on really is because I love my Geddy just that bit more, plus I prefer the 70s pup spacing.
