1. Yes very nice that, and very tempting. Ever had flats on it?
2. Now that sir, is a bass guitar. Monster.
3. Absolutely amazing bass, someone's going to be a very lucky new owner, but it never ceases to amaze me that people have that kind of money to spend, 11K? Blimey, I'm not sure I could scratch together £11 at the moment . Beautiful bass, I can only dream.
4. I for one am VERY interested, but very skint, same for many people on here at the moment. It's a great bass at a great price, it'll go eventually.
5. I've got beautiful wood that's for sure.
6. Oh my lord.........in my dreams.......
7. Surely someone is going to give this bass a new home soon? It's a cracker.
8. Gulp..... Pm'd
9. Groan.....I want this bass back sooooo bad.
10. I had one, and it was nowhere near as bad as some had said it would be. I pimped it with an EMG passive pickup, and re wired it, but even before that I gigged it along side an Overwater Progress 5 with no problem at all, it was a great little bass. The only reason I pimped it was because I'm a tart. I discovered that some of the folks who had slagged them off had never even actually seen one. Funny that.
11. Exactly what I'm looking for, but of course, I'm skint again.
12. Good gig on Saturday, a small crowd in a big pub is never good, but once we started the second set the place had filled up nicely. It seemed like a long gig too, we've been putting new stuff in, but failing to drop the old stuff, so it went on forever. We really need to butcher the set list. The Spectors sounded great, and for the first time in a LONG time, I had people coming up to me afterwards commenting on the bass sound, so you can't say fairer then that. A couple fo different people said the bass was really clear and punchy, not something they were used to hearing, as in this particular venue it was usually wooly and thumpy with most band. So I'm very happy with that.
13. Top bass, top bloke, must return his CDs, bump.
14. Someone from my home town, maybe I'll go and have a look at it.
15. I'm not a Ritter fan either particularly, but that's fabulous.
16. Probably been mentioned before, but I took delivery of "Let's Get Lost" on DVD yesterday. A fascinating rather than entertaining watch, it's a kind of scrapbook of the life of my personal favourite trumpet player Chet Baker. He's followed throughout the last months of his life, on a European tour, by a managery of some talented, some irritating people such as Flea (talented or irritating? You decide) it would appear, and extracts of his earlier life are mixed in. It's a bit annoying when the commentary keeps interrupting some of his performances during the film, so don't expect much in the way of live songs in their entirety, because the chop and change style of the film robs you of that, but it's a good watch for Chet fans, of which I've been one for years. I guess the final lesson is, don't do speedballs, if you value your health. Enjoyable, sad, funny, and fascinating for his fans, it's worth a watch.
17. I had to sit and wait for days for a beam of sunlight to appear.
18. Great news. I fear my repairs will cost a heck of a lot more than that, if and when I go ahead. I'll try doing some of it myself first I think. I've seen some double basses held together with tape and all sorts

@ The Winds, Romiley, Nr Stockport, Saturday 23rd June. I'll even buy you a pint, can't say fairer than that.
21. Hi Mikey, I'm hoping to get to one of them. I used to be in a band with Ben's dad many years ago, which makes me feel very old indeed.
22. AAAGGGHHHHH Why didn't I spot this?? I need some new strings.
23.
Um, whiskey will dehydrate your throat and make it worse.
Indeed, but during the gig itself, not on the days running up to it, it's not a problem. Plus you won't care if it's a problem or not once you've drunk it .
