1. Seen something I'd like to buy, make me an offer?
2. http://www.espguitars.co.jp/original/horiz.../index_end.html
3. HOT DAMN......I loved my 4er version of this, wish I had some cash, it's fab.
4. Crying shame about the decal, beautiful bass though.
5. I like Vic, but this is more up my strasse: http://www.bassplayer.com/emgpickups.aspx?...id=885606222001
6. This was my BB3000S, miss it terribly, superb bass, definitely one I should have kept,
7. Fabulous bass Al, and it sounded amazing at the gig the other night.
8. Is the bass a 34" scale? Sometimes the B can be a bit loose an flappy on a 34" scale bass, which is why many prefer a 35", it just tightens the B a bit and makes it ring out better. You could try a heavier gauge B string maybe? Definitely have a look at the nut slot to make sure the string fits.
9. WHOOOAAAAA That's the best looking Aerodyne EVER!!!!!
10. I still think it's a great show. Some of the acts aren't up my strasse, but the programme still shows me new bands and music that I wouldn't normally give the time of day, which I really like. KD Lang was magnificent this week, but agreed on Hugh Laurie, not my bag at all, but is he less relevant because of that? I dunno. I think it's vital that shows like this stay on TV, the Tube, TOTP, Whistle Test, all sadly missed in my book, and if LWJH gets the elbow too, what are we left with? Long live Later.
11. Thanks for the couple of offers I've had, but I'm still looking. Bit more info: BODY Alder NECK Hard Maple 3P FINGERBOARD Ebony , 24frets SCALE 34 inch (864mm) NUT (width) Carbon (40mm) INLAY Offset Dot JOINT Neck-thru-body BRIDGE Custom Bass Bridge PICKUPS (Front) ESP Activ Type P(1989~), EMG P(1992~) (Rear) ESP Activ Type J(1989~), EMG J(1992~) CONTROL Front Volume, Rear Volume 2 Band EQ (JETT CIRCUIT H4) I've seen something I really want, £600 with case or a trade for a Fender P or J, Lakland or Warwick. I've emailed ESP in Japan for a date of manufacture, no idea if they'll reply.
12. Yeah, that doesn't look remotely like midnight wine to me, I had a MIM P bass in midnight wine, it was much darker than that.
13. Don't worry, it sounds to me like it's just a setup issue, I'm yet to buy a bass that didn't need my own setup doing on it first, with one exception actually, my Fleabass was perfect straight out of the box, not bad for a 300 quid beater. If you're not happy doing a setup yourself, I'd leave it alone until a pro can look at it, you could make it worse if you don't know what you're doing. It's a quality bass, I really wouldn't worry at all, but I know it's frustrating. Deep breath, it'll be fine.
14. Yum, I'd love this, but I'll have to shift summat else first.
15. Cheers geezer, yeah, I thought it might go a bit sooner, oh well, no hurry. Price drop £600, with it's case, delivered, can't say fairer than that, but that's as low as I'll go. Trade....Precision, Jazz?
16. Oh, and I'm really interested in another nice Ibanez, Doug Wimbish model maybe, and preferably a 5er.
17. Final bump....... Trades for Warwicks...Spectors....Fenders....or the elusive Schecter Model T
18.
Any trades? Would swap for like Jazz; always a fan of the unusual; not averse to putting a little cash towards it... but not a massive amount. I'm having a crown reset this month, so my dentists demands all my money
What you need, is an Ibanez GWB-35.
