Maybe that is the thing that should be sorted, either mechanically, or by education. If its input jacks, then SS isn't very relevant.

Oh yeah, the other thing people don't realise is that you only set a maximum and ebay bids only what is necessary and no-one can see your maximum until someone exceeds it. So no aspect of showing your hand.

People got this idea that the winner is the person who bids least last. Actually, the winner is Ebay. Its nice for sellers because if you get tons of watchers, you know to increase your start price before those last minute bids come in, handy hint you might have underpriced. A bid locks you from editing most things

[/quote] Little Mark has SMPS in a class A/B output amp. Peavey made a valve amp with SMPS. It tookk a while to figure coupling SMPS and class D output so they did other things with it in the meantime.

[/quote] Its just a case of finding it first. Stuff might be rare individually, but there are quite a lot of things that are rare.

Great thing about flamenco is that everyone is sort of aware of it, and are sort of aware its quite hard to play, but most haven't listened very hard. So if you have the fairly basic bassist ability to play quite fast with fingers, and do a phrygian run up and down one string of any nylon strung guitar about (one string so you don't even have to tuned it) people think you are dead good.

Being a pioneer kinda means you have to make up the technique as you go along.

Means knob twiddling to get it, but shutting them off for clean, you don't really get varieties of clean, it heads towards not clean. Edit: Also 400w takes a lot to drive.

Heavy enough strings will retain some tension when detuned, but best is to get some made for the tuning you are in.

It appears to be rackmountable, the sleeve is made pretty well for carrying, proper handles. Preamp is fiddly, but you can shut off most of it. You can also shut off all of it, giving no sound, which is a bit worrying when you are trying to demo it. It isn't very heavy for a 400w valve head. Used one recording the Caricatures album, then traded for one later on. Moved on due to vintage head overload. Wouldn't be afraid of using one now.

Big magnets come in useful a lot. Or clingfilm it an fill it with cornstarch paste and run low notes through it.

It is a pretty big deal to match speakers and cabs, but the Kappalite is pretty happy in standard sized cabs, usually the port is a bit small for full power. If it is the big peavey 15, might do OK to extend the port a bit for a lower tuning if it comes across as boomy.

Is the neck new and the body s/h? Prob go for the body. Bear in mind you don't want to allow the neck to go wonky, use a block to sand, or a file so it stays flat. Fill the bridge holes and re-align the bridge when the neck is on.
