I thought playing guitar was quite hard, then I used my distortion pedals (I had them about for bass, but rarely plug in until I'm in the practice space where I'm never playing guitar). Now I know why guitarists are so fussed about distortion so much, need to cover up rubbish playing.

The 300T is a Fender era amp, so not really related to the classic Sunn amps except by badge design. totally different things. Lot of money to pay for scene tax on that badge, the Fender 300t sells for noticeably less money just from not having a Sunn badge.

The wibbly effect from the video is a shutter effect and not directly reflecting of the way the string oscillates, it is to do with the relationship between the strings position in each frame, like when in video of propellers it seems that they change direction.

Why would policing the prices on things be in anyone's interest? The idea is ebay allows the market to set the price. Starting at the price you want is the only way of determining the price you want to start with.

Pretty sure the LH500 is going to give as much as one 4x10 can take.

Various less serious stuff can give you shocks through mics, like ground loops, where there is a difference between ground where you are and where the mic is grounded. Also phantom power might figure, but not sure how that would zap you.
