There might be more to these strings than gauge, you can do stuff with the core to change the tension and tuning without altering gauge, so probably aren't comparable with other brands of same thicknesses. I use .055 to.115 in standard on one of my basses, is doable, but they are daddario steels.

Don't want to stick with all valve? I'm using a Sound City 150 with a Barefaced Super 15, that probably enough volume for pretty much anyone.

Think is $120 dollars standard. Because I send parts to him and had various requests and such I didn't end up with very standard price, I've been Facebook 'friends' with him for some time.

Grover. Musicman pickup by default, again, will fit others if you sen to him. I went with P pickup cause can freely swap amoog my basses that way.

I asked about black hardware but it was extra, so be on the lookout for new stuff. Alternative is ordering it sent to him. I put up a wanted ad for the pickups for mine on an American bass site.

The hole in the head is about the roughest bit on mine, aside from the roughness I ordered. I suspect the routing depends on how recently he bought a new bit.

Both of mine were fine. And the person I sold the first one to was fine. And when you actually have done things like order and own a Wishbass, you'd be aware they don't come with a bridge, or a finish unless requested, which renders those claims a bit silly, like the one on a harmony central review claiming the intonation was way off on a fretless.

I can get basses sold. But given that pile, I'd have them all apart and end up with a monster the likes of which you've never seen.

Finish will be danish oil. I'll have a lot of sawdust so superglue/epoxy and that is probably the way to go.

I didn't bring the neck woods into it, but it is purpleheart center, then maple then mahogany. If I'd thought to ask I'd have gone maple an purpleheart laminates. You can ask for whatever, just bear in mind what you are getting isn't a top boutique thing.

The neck in a Wishbass is so thick and chunky that the wings make very little odds, although they do feel pretty lively. I really wouldn't have massive consideration to tone in wood choice. Pickup and position is a much bigger deal. If you are on Facebook, you can just talk to the man himself. Pretty sure he never sleeps.

The longer term plan here might be drive up prices, the west responds by building their own processing infrastructure (which is the missing bit, where China has the monopoly), lots of investment there, then China can use their stockpile to crash the market, ruining the investment, and really messing with things. Heading a bit toward furniture stuff here, but anyone used wax to fill gaps in woo? For my Wishbass, dunno whether to fill then sand, so maybe wood dust sticks in the wax, or leave till sanding is done.

Salve out is a hint that I need it. Orange and green two good looks that look good together.
