I had mine up for sale for £250 for ages and it didn't go, gave in and ebayed it, made nearly that much. They don't go for much when they do come up, so keep an eye out. Good unit, overkillfor my purpose when I have a VT bass and it covers me.

I'd ask about on a vintage amps forum, some of them love Goodmans speakers, but might be only certain ones.

I reckon best of sticking guitar drivers in and using it as toppy cab.

'Theft' is also a legal term, and doesn't apply to downloading music, but does to stealing bread. If you buy some bread and program your breadmaker to make perfect copies of your bread, and give them to your friends, your friends aren't thieving the bread either. If that car is in a place where the PRS rules are applicable, then playing that music requires a licence, such as in the garage playing music whilst the mechanics work on it. But it isn't the listener that is in breach, it is the owner of the place. Analogous to the internet, it isn't the one receiving the music who is in breach, but rather the sender.

After that previous thread, and paying attention to the relevant news and such, I'm pretty damn sure downloading isn't illegal in this country, which is why people can't be done for downloading. It is filesharing (specifically the uploading part where you send to someone else) that is illegal. Worse to give than recieve.

It isn't an espcially useful way of looking at it, there is a bunch of other factors involved, all else is never equal. 2x10 and a 15 are sort of comparable in sensitivity as a horrific generalisation (volume to power), but there is more to it. Porting a cab adds a bunch of sensitivity, and 15s are often ported and 8x10s often aren't. There is a lot more air stuck to the 10" speakers than the 15, so the same amount of power will move correspondingly more air. That means it will both be louder and that it will be able to more otal air when it is at maximum. This means the 8x10 will totally drown out the sound of the 15 tearing itself to shreds. Actually, if you had an entirely seperate amp and a really good 15 in a really ideal box, made just to put out lower frequencies than an 8x10 can, so basically a 3015LF loaded subwoofer, possibly a horn one, and ran it with its own amp and crossover, it could add useful content, bt you might as well not use an 8x10 then, and use something more suitable.

If you are after hi-fi, probably want to start by not limiting to 4x10s.

Every time I've done a guitar setup for someone who detunes, it has never been to suit their voice. The half step is always because some cheesy blues dude did it, and the really down was either 'because it's heavy' or 'because Metallica play in standard, so screw doing that'. And when complicated chords "****ed up a whole generation"m do you means 'taught them to play jazz' or 'forced them to play punk'?

Guitarists do this because they heard SRV and Hendrix did it. That is pretty much the sole reason.

If you want NOS caps, PM Nick on here, he has some Russian paper in oil jobs that are ideal for purpose.
