If I'd have been in I'd totally have beaten you to that!
You'd totally have been pointing at your own face in the mirror with both hands going 'Who's the best?', like you have been since you won that competition.
The 502 is only 50w but thats still a very reasonable price. Good score.
Apparently the Gold Lion loaded ones were 70w, would be nice if it had those in it. Since it says 'serviced', I'd guess they have been snaffled.
 2. After my recent bass sell off, then some opportunism, I have more amps than basses. This seems right. How many basses can you play at once? Now, how many amps can you play at once?
 3.
ok last question. I have two a 2x10 600w@8ohm and a 1x15 400w@8ohm The amp is switchable 500w @ 4 or 8ohms When I'm using the 2x10. I should keep it at 8ohms. but when I using a both the amp should be at 4ohms.. right?
Provided however you are connecting the pair is parallel (mnost are, but anything with two jacks should be marked how they relate). Usually two jacks on the back of amps say 'Outputs (parallel)' or somesuch.
 4. Mercury magnetics to big trannies, doubt are cheap though.
 5. Yoink. Edit: E-pint for ya.
 6.
£26.05 - not bad BUT are they specific bass drivers i.e. not some silly rated car sub driver!
Sensible sized voice coil says not some silly rated car sub.

 8. The cab gets delivered in a paper bag.
 9.
Hi, I have a Rode NT2-A condenser mic in front of the bass (out of picture) It´s recorded to computer where I added compressor and reverb
The reverb has a bunch to do with it.
 10. JoeGarcia often points out that whatever I plug into, I can get a sound that he really hates. I took this as a great compliment, that I have a sound that comes from my fingers, not from tech, and it has the ability to provoke an emotional response in people. Which is most of the point of music.
 11.
Not if you like how it sounds
Kind of an element of fitting in with the band mix too. Plenty of guitarists like a sound that leave no space for the bass.
 12.
Yeah, I just paid £450 + £25 P&P and I get all that back (inc P&P) but pay £25 P&P to get it back to Alex. I can get this one shipped for £350, which saves me £100. Not sure how warranties or the likes would work though.
Warranty is transferable according to the website (last time I looked) but I don't think anyone would judge him harshly if you found yourself told where to go.
 13.
Can't wait to try this out.
Should go wheely loud, but the tone might be rubbish.
 14. Is there a cap on the master tone? If it isn't working like it should or is shorted, might have a volume instead of a tone.
 15. Doesn't "more resonance" = deadspot nightmare?
 16.
The same bidder was the second placed bidder for both auctions. Though, it's an account with 310 feedback, not an account with 0 feedback. Different winners for both auctions. Not sure I'm convinced it's shill bidding. Could just be someone bidding on both. Still unusual though.
I think having your legitemate mates account do the shilling is the standard practice.
 17.
I'm wondering what he did to so piss off God, and why God's aim is so poor to have missed him twice!
People used to be able to take a hint.
 18.
What would you say if you played one of these?
Poor choice, you can see the electrickery panel on the top. All about these:
 19. I think somebody might have been shilled out of their bargain.
 20. What does this one look like then? Googling it mostly gives me Pros.
 21. Fairly sure at this point that this guy is posting these threads and not reading them. Still not figured what he is hoping to achieve. They are quite bizarre.
 22.
As long as you deal with it sparingly, in a well-ventilated space, go for it. Although be aware that if you're also paying for gold-plated connectors at the same time, that lead-based solder CAN dissolve the gold plating.
And aren't doing it for a commercial purpose. Also, isn't tin (or whatever else) based solder going dissolve gold just as much, since all metals mix pretty easily when molten, in fact, doesn't tin have a higher melting point?
 23. Headstock looks like a Peavey, but nothing else does, random knobs and Schaller 3d bridge, plus the finger grub on the body, indicates it has been stripped and not refinished well if at all, I reckon its a a cheapy heavily messed with.
 24. Each one has got better. I think he is trying to promote his sigged website, which is full of the same rubbish, and bad grammar, and eye bleeding layout. Anyone regularly reading this forum is aware of all this, and generally aware that it is wrong.
