Are video entries allowed? I'm sure a review of the archive will find some awesome photographic examples of Joe Garica's bass faces, but this clip is a veritable encyclopaedia:

Macke it in such a way everthing is on the pickguard, then all you need is a spade connector on the earth to bridge, over even cunning foilwork will do it, then just swap the whole thing.

i recently tricked out a p bass with dimarzio model 1 at the neck and the bridge, sounds totally awesome. Someone had one of those same Fender mudbuckers in the for sale section, maybe double up.

Are they the Blueline speakers or the Celestions? Another one in my cab has started to rattle (suspect its the damp practice space killing them) so might be best if you sell them and buy new drivers, and work from there.
I used to hire PA from Jesse when I was at uni there - a legend. IIRC his house ended up so full of gear he bought another house to live in! Alex
If he'd said to you what he said to me about speakers, you'd burst.

Old BC richs are nice, new ones have gone a bit budget. You can score an old NJ series for cheap if its pointy, due to limited market, I got a battered Warlock for £60. Loads of legendary thrashers played BC basses. Edit, I used a NJ Mockingbird for recording, sounds beasty.

In Bristol you have Jesse James and the Bailey Brother's, I've spoken to Jesse and he is a bit oldschool, which is great for amp like yours but I'm madly dubious on his ideas about speakers. The Baileys are great and cheap, but they prioritise gigging musiciansso if you don't have a deadline to have it working by, they will take forever.

Some more new Orange equipment - 8x10, Terror bass cabs
Mr. Foxen replied to bennifer's topic in Amps and Cabs
I actually still own one of those Ampeg Isovent Cabs. I wrote one of the original magazine reviews of it around 1993 or so and Ampeg let me hang onto it. Great cab but HEAVY. Short and beefy like a pittbull. 2x10 with a horn on the top that is angled up and two 15's down the bottom that are mounted face-to-face and wired in reverse polarity to each other, so as one moves in the other moves out -- like a giant bass piston.
Want -
Start playing jazz, none of those shenannigans there.
But the Red Hot Halapeno Brothers are also rubbish, always have been. Nothing to do with selling out. Fortunately, racism, bigotry, cruelty and war don't effect me, but Green Day do. Occasionally I listen to the radio (only in the car - no CD player) and occassionally Green Day are played. This means I have to change radio station, which takes effort. Effort takes energy, gained through eating food. The way I see it, skateboarding tossers like Green Day owe me a small refund on my food bill each month. That's why I think they should probably be killed.
I agree, although I can pretty much ignore Greenday, racism and bigotry are often responsible for putting a smile on my face, whereas Greenday pretty much never do.

I just though, are the two 15s in a straight line like a mesa, or staggered like a Hartke?

Strip all the carpet off and paint it with that stuff for lining truck beds.
No point contacting eBay about it, of course, as they rarely get around to anything before the auction ends. I don't think they give a sh*t that it's artificially driving up the market, because ultimately they take a percentage cut.
Maybe you are wrong. Did you try reporting it? Its not been withdrawn by them, as the listing stays, I tihnk. I report any stuff I see thats dodge if I have the minutes (which I do if I'm bumming about on Ebay), the more stuff they get reported, the less time they have to remove the things I want to buy.
yeah, yeah I know that lol. But the problem is that if you have it on bypass mode, then there is no way of muting it from the pedal. Which IMO is stuuuuuuupid. I want to see if I'm out of tune whilest playing, and then be able to silently tune up inbetween somgs... do I made my own seperate mute (or 'moot' as I call it) pedal
Hear if you are out of tune whilst playing, see to get it right again quickly. My current problem is it only mutes one pickup from my dual outputs.
Blimey. Gotta be a coupla grands worth of Golden Lions there. AWESOME.
Cuh, all about the money with you isn't it? Anyway, 6 of those golden lions were stone dead apparently. Which is pretty Doom.
Nah, even double-walled corrogated cardboard can support a bass or two, let alone triple-walled. Just no stage diving from the faux rig, but that isn't doom is it? Alex
Being punched into the rig is doom, jumping off isn't. Not sure the feedback would be the same on top of card either. Anyway, I prefer the midrange sweetness of double walled, triple walled is a bit clinical sounding. Also, this is Doom:
-
How about one surrounded by a number of large cardboard boxes artfully painted to look like an imposing rig of Doom? Alex
Nah, would squash when you lay your bass on top, put your hood up and stand facing your amp with arms raised.
The TU2 is great except when you have it on bypass, you'd expect that pressing it would mute the signal, right? wrong. That's why you would also need a mute pedal for you to use it live in bypass mode.
You do know you can just plug into the other socket right? Either way they are both buffered, one mutes and one doesn't.
That's just mean - not everyone's as clever as you, but it doesn't make them massive morons.
I refute this statement.
