1. If you can be patient, pick up all the parts second hand, so they retain their value, if you take them off and sell them again. Its generally what I do, except for the selling them part. I just have a room of weird frankenbasses.
2. Get something with a Darkstar in.
3. Wanna make an offer for mine? Looks like my rig might be moving back in with me for a bit, could do with freeing up some room.
4. I spend some of my unemployed time scraping a neck thinner to fit a body, ended up with such a tight neck pocket by it was ludicrous amounts of time to do.
5.
Mmmm...you could try the Behringer, cheap. Had one myself, before getting a Boss. TBH wish I hadn't sold it, as I found it tracked better than the TU-2, though obviously no way near as robust.
Really? I have a TU-2 (suspect bought at same time as your one originally) and it tracks down to my low A without trouble. Its in chromatic mode, not the spinny light mode.

Gibson

Saw a guy playing an EB3 through Chiseerkinds ampeg stack, sounded so nice.
7. Just scored the programmable one on Ebay, coupla hours before guitarist mentioned its likely the band is over. So one is spare, and this is what I have currently. Its used but boxed. SOLD
8. The cultural Quarter of Bristol. You can visit here: Virtual Stokes Croft Also, a fairly well known Basschatter can be seen running away from Rita's Fast Food.
9. Bump, will go for £150, since I might be bandless soon, and should cut down on gear.
10. Singer has quit, and guitarist is looking like he's knocking it on the head, so in order to justify my huge rig, parts of which I've just dropped off for servicing hours before hearing, I need a new band. Check sig for what I currently do, I have good gear but no transport.

12.
its not a good idea they just get angry and turn up more then their lips are moving but I don't hear any words.
13. Theres as much wood in a Wishbass neck as there is in most small bodied basses, I've played a few now and they are all very lively feeling.
14.
Well... They look great ... Really great... But the resonance must be like crap with some of them... :S
Why would that be? They are all though neck and through strung, pretty much ideal for resonance, and the slotted headstock gives a steep break angle over the nut.
15. Wishbass. Ain't no good having a fancy bass if I can't afford it.
16. How you gonna turn it on and off without a pedal?
17. Gothic one about to go for not much: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EPIPHONE-BASS_W0QQit...%3A1|240%3A1318
18. Room dynamics and simply turing up the amp doesn't necessarily mean the same sound but louder. Its a problem I had lots when I first joined Caricatures, awesome sound from my pedals in my room, turn up to practice and it vanishes.
19. Just noticed your link is wrong, should be .co.uk
20.
um?
I'm sort of looking for how to describe the profile of the neck of my Johnson bass, so some sort of guidance there would be good, I'm sure 'slim profile' doesn't cover it.
21. If you have a 9v AC wall wart going, Chiseerkind was after one.
22. Taking off the Jack panel, there were 4 wires, a pair for the top 4 and a pair for the bottom 4, checked witha 9v, easy-peasy.
23.
Warmoth.
The do a whole variety of neck sizes, I notice the mostly seem to say 'slim profile' which is not a description of what I want, how to describe what I do want would be useful. 'Like one of the cheapest basses you can get' is not ideal.
