1. The keys player needs a keyboard mounted on a Segway though.
 2. Copied from promoter:
FRIDAY 20 MARCH LESSON NO.1 PRESENTS: NADJA A man with a beard and a lady who looks like a character from a webcomic come from Canada to Wales for one night only. While here they intend to send you into paroxysms of pleasedness with a really fantastic musical meeting of shoegazing, ambient drone, doom metal and electronics. Releases on rad labels like The End, Profound Lore, 20 Buck Spin and others. http://www.myspace.com/nadjaluv FALLEN PAINTING Fallen Painting is the occasional project of Nickie Charles, a South Wales vocalist - currently living in Scotland - whose recordings and rare gigs have showcased a skill for acousto-electronic (is that even a term?) experimentation and folky mystery. It really is pretty uncategorisable but ought to be seen. She's collaborated with members of THE DEATH OF HER MONEY and THE SOUND OF AIRCRAFT ATTACKING BRITAIN before, not sure who'll be onstage for this one. It's not really up to me is it. http://www.myspace.com/nickiecharles CARICATURES Bristol-based doom sludge exorcism with members of a bunch of bands from around the way (MEA CULPA and ROSE KEMP's band). For fans of KHANATE, SWANS, MONARCH, NEUROSIS. It's good this, isn't it? Even though we're basically just listing chocolate bars. http://www.myspace.com/caricaturesband 7.30pm-10.30pm (get there early), £5 lessonnumberone.blogspot.com or search for Lesson No.1 on Facebook myspace.com/wearebuffalobar
If anyone can explain the 'chocolate bars' part, I'd be grateful. Packet of cheese and onion and a Neurosis bar please?
 3. I'm loath to use mine as the sockets are wicked dodge, shame, cause I sold my rackmount one, and still wanted the ludicrous low end presence it gives.
 4.
Nope,I don't like metal,I only play the blues on my BC Riches *I was being sarcastic,in case you missed it*
Of course, BC Richs aren't just for metal, they have a wide variety of sounds suitable for any genre.
 5.
Isopropyl alcohol or meths is fine. You could search the forums for the method, there was a string cleaning topic not long ago, but I'm dashing off to lectures and haven't got time myself. Basically, it involves some cheap as chips PVC piping + end caps, some silicone to seal one end properly, and a hook.
Rolling them up and cramming them in a big sandwich box is much easier, no special making. Seems happier than boiling, less thermal stress or something. I dangle my bass by the strings when I'm playing so any potential string weakening is a no-no.
 6. Can't believe I didn't already post some GWAR
 7. Anyone stupid enough to buy those doesn't deserve money.
 8.
Metal shows died with Tommy Vance.
James Vance is more metal than Tommy Vance
 9. Less of all this diddling metal with banging things, get some heavy in Edit: Just found this and its truly awesome:
 10.
I gave up on Zero Tolerance and read smash hits. Damn wrong thread
Terrorizer uber alles.
 11. Was gonna post up this pic, but has a nuaghty word
 12. I tune ADGC and have .145, .110, .090(?), .070, forgot what the G is, but somewhere around there. Depends how slack you like your strings, I like them tight.

 16. It's licenced and Korean. It also has a really nice flame top that doesn't show in that photo.
 17. Heres a vid with a Acoustic cab in a bit more modern context: Burning Witch
 18.
Anyone have general arrangement drawings of the 361's folded horn arrangement? Dimensions of the cab would be good, but at a guess it's probably 1200ish high, 650mm wide, and 500mm deep front to back? If I remember what I previously read correctly, the speaker is at the bottom, facing backwards and up into the horn chamber???? This is the sort of thing that gets built in the shed, just for the hell of it....
Gutted, the diagram I posted in my previous thread is no more. Pretty sure it faces straight back, W sot of shaped horn. This is the central bit with speaker taken out (mines not an acoutic, but is a clone of) Edit: Hmm, actually a lot of the info on Acoustic stuff that used to be on there seems to be gone. Is that to do with the name being ressurected? Anyway, found some of it in google cache, gonna try and find some schematics.

 20. I think JoeGarcia is after some more of these.
 21.
do you have any clips of the MXR M88?
I do not. I could probably sort recording some, but its likely I'll change my mind on selling it.

 23. Build/buy a clone in a smaller box, sell the orginal.
