1. Not swinging by bristol any time are you? Trying to arrange a pickup...
2. Woulda been with my other sales but only just found the PSU. Was using it as a handy desktop compressor when recording into my pc. £40 shipped with PSU. Alesis Microverb III, rack unit, very shallow, bit battered, I used it for reverb, it also does delay. £40 shipped with PSU.
3. Looks like the Bassassination attempt only burnt off its frets and made it more hideous: M'Kay
4. Can't find it on Ebay. I've shrunk neck pockets using veneer, found loads of little bits of rosewood veneer on floor of piano makers.
5. Cheapies are where the money is, parents wandering in off the street to buy a kid his first bass because they haven't got the first clue etc. Once you are hanging on the internet in places like this, the chances of buying in shops is pretty slim, and they have to cater for the market.
6. Good price on ER20s in this ebay store: here The Nuge is deaf in one ear from that, or possibly from the guns. Surprised we haven't managed to destroy anyone yet, with Chappell of Rest's 5150 full stack in a livingroom sized venue. Our drummer complained he couldn't hear his cymbals over it.
7. Running the octave up into a Sansamp GT2 gives you a good distorted guitar sort of sound, loses the synthetic quality better than most pedals.
8. Just scored a stacked pot. Rapid transaction. Cheers dude.

10. Joe Garcia was after doing this also, I got the general impression its not very good on passives. Was giving having a master volume on a jazz with no cosmetic change some thought, recon a push pull tone that turns it to master volume, can that work?

12. If you are coming by Bristol any time, I'll have it. Not like I didn't just give away my 1x15 cause it was too nig to be practical or anything.
13. Hi, another one of us. Bristol has a fair presence here. If you hit up The Prom this evening, at least two of us are going to be there.
14. I only count 21 frets though. Realised I use the 22nd when I switched to my P from my BCR for a gig.
15.
"This 21 fret, 34" scale neck is straight, and the action is great! (Action and playability are subjective. You should always expect to set up a guitar to your personal specifications!)" roughly translate to english from american: "I am a big fan of nice high action, and the bow in this neck pulls it off!"
True enough really, I don't get on with super low action. Course I set stuff really low if I'm trying to sell.
16.
the Strat jack socket kills the looks for me.shame as its otherwise quite nice
Pleasingly practical though. Much better than the rubbish telecaster cup things, more accessible than an edge mount and it points the right way to go through the strap.
17. This still needs going. Its been rocked loudly by local bands and they were happy enough with it.
18.
how does this particular juggernaut sound? from what iv heard they vary, alot
Sounds pretty much like the demos on the website. I think the variation was from the original ones that were custom made to order, like Larry Grahams one. This one is boxed up to go now anyway.
19.
Are the Russian Bassballs any less desirable than the US made ones? I have one of the Russian ones and love it.
Don't actually know what the difference is, as only ever had this one. Do want one of the dinky ones for pedal board real estate purposes.
20. I totally volunteer my 5 string to be recorded in every way possible, then converted to a 4 string and compared. Someone just needs to collect, get the work done, and deliver it back when tests have been made.
21. Spare pedals to go. Sold [s]Tech 21 bass Compator in box, £35 [/s]Gone Russian Bassballs, in black, in the wooden box, £35 Sold [s]Proco Juggernaut £45 posted.[/s]
22. Isn't it ludicrously heavy? There are a few variation on 'oak' rather than our own English Oak, American oak might be lighter, and there is also Japanese red and white oaks.
23. +1 for the Ashdown electric blue combos. They lack headphone socket though.
24.
Starting low always gets bidders on board because everyone hopes they'll get a crazy bargain - conversely a high start price, or (pointless) undisclosed high reserve puts people off, & people tend to wait before getting involved because they don't want to push the price up. I suppose it's theoretically possible that you could end up selling a valuable instrument for a pittance - but I've never seen it happen & it's certainly never happened to me. Jon.
I wouldn't say a valuable instrument, but I scored a bass with EMGs and few other nice upgrades for £17. I saw a awesome Sunn cab go for £63, and the seller refused to complete, so it can happen. The seller reckons it was Ebays fault for not setting a reserve, and him not noticing for 10 days, since I asked when he relisted. I prefer auctions that start at no money, since thats all I ever bid, but I have more respect for people who list for what they want so I only need to look once.
