1. Final price drop to £450, this won't get any cheaper lads.
2. Here we have my MarkBass Rig consisting of: R500 Amp head - lightweight and punchy, hybrid with tube pre-amp, ground lift, pre/post Eq switches, effects loop and DI out. A sound engineer told me this Amp produced the cleanest signal he'd ever seen. Made in Italy - this was Clarky's I believe. The Amp comes in a bespoke MarkBass rucksack with pockets for leads. Std 151H Cab - Italian made and mint with it's fitted Silvertone cover with side pockets for misc leads/other stuff. Speakon connector and two 1/4" jack inputs. Std 210H Cab - As above but without the cover. (The Silvertone to fit this is about £38 quid). Speakon and two 1/4" jack inputs. Velcro MarkBass Bass Keeper. Sticks to the side of your cab so you can stand your Bass up while you go for a pint! Everything in lovely condition, I've only gigged it twice. Looking for [s]£950[/s] £800 the lot. It can't go any lower!!!! 3. The best standard colour/scratch plate combo IMO. Did this come from Bass Direct Rich? If so, it used to be mine and I wouldn't mind having it back. Might trade for my beautiful burgundy mist. Cheers, LC
4. Back to the top - might also consider trading for P Bass
5.
Without seeing the ad, I can't say for sure...but our latest Special Edition Corvette is the FSC-certified Open Day bass...made in commemoration of our 30th Anniversary Open House Day. Its made of 100% FSC certified woods - Ash Body, Wenge Top, Wenge neck and headstock veneer, and Ebony fingerboard with block inlays. Seen here: http://warwick.de/mo...te&page=3&cl=EN
The very same...nice looking thing.
6. Just for the outrageous kecks he used to wear (Song Remains the Same) - the title goes to the one and only Jimmy Page!
7. She sure looks the dogs danglies Karl but what does she play/sound like?
8.
If everything is original as it states, shouldn't it have screw holes in the scratchplate for a thumb rest and pickup cover? Don't quote me on that, there's a lot of better people on here who could help out!
In short - no. My '79 P bass had no such holes.
9. Price modification type bump - still available (just)!
10. Nice one fella, can't go wrong with an Am Std, one of the best colour combo's too! Enjoy! LC
11.
Can I ask how much this weighs?? Bathroom scales job is fine, I'm not looking for the nearest gram!. Thanks in advance.
Hi Rick...9lbs exact according to my luggage scales.
12. Thanks Rick, yes it is a fab colour and the pics don't do it justice, you've got to see it it the flesh really.
13. I bought this from a splendid chap (TheIceMoose) in Cardiff a few months back who had her in his wardrobe for quite a time. Hope he doesn't mind me using his pics. Since I've owned her she's had a good set up (neck pup was flush with the body but now raised as it should be), fretboard clean and lemon oil which now looks more like ebony than RW, lustrous and dark. She now also has her missing neck pup ashtray (genuine fender part) and a new set of Ernie's. The build quality is at least as good as any US fender I've owned and the action is fast and low with no fret buzz. I'll be sorry to see her go but I'm a bit of a P bass freak! I'd like [s]£500[/s] [s]£475[/s] £450 please including the hard case pictured. Thanks for looking. OK, Since tis the season of goodwill, Santa will chuck in a free xmas gift of your choice! Choose from: EHX Bass Balls Pedal USA boxed - not the Nano version. Boss ODB3 Distortion Overdrive, Zoom B2 boxed and as new. http://basschat.co.u...burgundy%20mist
14. Poor old Keith is looking a bit worse for wear bless him. Looks like he shouldn't really be able to play anymore with those arthritic fingers. Didn't know that Ronnie is such an accomplished artist either - learned something new tonite. Mick comes across as though he's always been (and still is) the driving force behind the band. There are still a few tickets front of stage at the 02 if you are willing to part with 5 grand! Now that's rock n roll!
15. I wonder if Mick will comment on the ticket prices?......I think not!
16. On the inside cover of this months (John Taylor on the front) BGM is a piccie of a new Corvette special edish - block inlays if you please! I'm not keen on Warwicks having owned one in the past but that does look rather nice!
17. Best wishes to you and your family, hope your boy is on the mend. LC
18. Is it a case of style over function I wonder? They do look very cool but I'm thinking the bridge cover may have to come off!
19. Don't blame you for keeping the Precision Dan, I veer away now and then but always come back. That Bongo is a beaut tho dude and a cracking price!
20. Great recommendation and glad your'e back on the road!
