Hey Is it safe to use an SVT4 PRO with a ampeg 210HE? I Believe the cab is 250-275watts. My svt4 pro is an older version so it is 1600watts mono bridged, not sure how much it is at 8 or 4 ohms though. Thanks!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this... but I have a fender mexican special deluxe active precision bass and it has a rosewood fretboard. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there with the same bass with a maple fretboard that wants to trade their neck for my rosewood one? The neck is in more or less perfect condition, apart from a few dings on the tip of the headstock from putting it on a wall hanger. Frets are fine, trussrod works fine.. no dings in the back of the neck or the fretboard. Thanks -
Hey I have a yamaha rbx775 and it's silver, but I don't really like the colour of it. Anyone have an idea of how much would it cost to get it painted black? And if anyone knows anywhere good to get it done around Maidstone please say Thanks!

Fender fretless jazz bass with a maple fretboard?

Yeah there seems to be a lot more fretless precisions with a maple fingerboard.. But as for jazz, none! -
It's only just crossed my mind.. I don't think i've ever seen a fretless fender jazz bass with a maple fretboard? Does anyone have one, and what do you think of it? Is there a reason why these don't exist?

Hey I'm selling my Ampeg SVT410HLF.. American made, I think it's something like 5-6 years old, one of the last american ones. The tolex and the grill is in very close to perfect condition. Only like two REALLY small rips on the lower back. I don't have pictures at the moment but I will get some up. Basically, the problem is that there is no signal is getting to the tweeter.. but the tweeter itself is fully working. I bought a new tweeter because I thought my old one was broken, but then I tried it on a P.A system, and it worked... but then I blew it But, the new one works GUARANTEED. I don't know what exactly is causing this but if you are an amp genius then you are welcome to come over and have a look at it etc. But I don't imagine it would be an expensive fix.. probably a £30 job if you take it to steveamps in Surrey. I'm asking for £300, because it's in such good condition. Pickup from Maidstone only

SVT7 PRO. I remember them being pretty small, and I could pick it up with one hand.. really light! It sounds really ampegy, has a built in compressor, the pre amp is valve.. it's one of the best hybrid heads ampeg have made IMO... either that or the svt4 pro. -
Hey I bought an 810 and an svt4 pro today for £850 and I was just curious to how loud the fan should be because it sounded really quiet? Especially in comparisson to my SVT3 PRO which is very very loud.. I'm not even sure if it's the fan, it's just really loud like turning on an old Dell computer. I only really noticed how loud it actually is today after getting the new amp. Is the SVT4 pro faulty, or is my SVT3 pro mucked up? Thanks!

Hey A few days ago I ordered some new elixir strings for my 5 string bass, they arrived today. Try to put them on and realise that my bass needs XL strings I'm going to try send them back, but anyway... it turns out Elixir don't do 40-125 in XL. I would really like to get that gauge because I don't want to have to have my bass set up again. Does anyone know any GOOD coated strings that are available in XL 5 string sets for 40-125 or something close to that? Thanks

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows how much these basses sold for new when it was still in production? And how much did the Yamaha BBG5A sell for when it was still in production? And if you have compared the two, which do you prefer? Thanks!
