ive played a gig before where the bass was literally inaudible to anyone. I was the only one with balls in the band I asked 3 times to be turned up and the soundman did nothing. after the next song I took my bass off stood it up and walked off stage and said theres no point me being there.
the tuning will be B,F#,B,E. I don't mind adjusting saddles and tweaing truss rods I just don want to bugger the nut in case I go back to standard tuning with 45-105s
Question for you all. I'm in a band which plays in drop d so easily done on a 4 string but have been asked to play with another band who will play in drop b. I have no desire to buy a 5er and I'm not keen on the idea of messing up my 4s to much. Even if I had a pro set up and changed it back a year later I don't fancy it. Anyone else turned a band down cos of pain in the ass tunings ?
Hi guys
Couldn't find this anywhere else so I'm hoping someone can help. I turn on my tiny terror everything's fine lights on sounds lovely .when I switch it off sound stops as normal but the light stays on and the fan keeps going ??? The only was to stop it is just pull the plug out.has anyone ever law experienced this
Good read, glad you've survived and come out the other side
I'm in the glass prison at the moment I cant stop at 2 drinks and continue until all the booze is gone or I'm skint. My band members don't drink but I'm drinking 3 hours before gigs and I know my performances suffer
I've tried to give up I just don't have the strength
