  1. Cheeky offer of £220 and I can collect tomorrow?
  2. @warwickhunt I'm gonna be doing all the jiggling to get the 13 1/2" as it is. @Downunderwonder I personally think having a nice amp on display is rather tasteful so I'm not sure how well that "tasteful" idea will go down with Mrs Grumpy. @David Morison the space will just be storage not actually need to plug in and work. It's a out of sight, out of mind type situation. I'm really liking the barefaced suggestion, but it looks like they don't come up too often 2nd hand. However we shall persevere. Cheers for all the help btw. Tis appreciated.
  3. 14 and a half inch deep though according to Google. Otherwise yes.
  4. Cost wise id like to keep it sub £1000 if possible. (Realise that I'll probably have to go 2nd hand for that.) Loudness, has to be giggable. (300-500watt) Weight isn't a problem as long as it's not gonna kill me. (Sub 40kg please, says my spine).
  5. Apologies if this isn't the right forum but I have a dilemma and need some professional help! It is beyond time for me to upgrade my amplifier to something more gig suitable. And more importantly I have permission from the wife! However she does have a condition that I'm struggling to fill and was hoping some people here might be able to help. The condition is this; It must fit in the alcove where I'm able to hide it in a built in cupboard. This alcove is 4ft wide and 8ft tall so there are no problems there. However it is only 14 1/2" deep. Once I build the cupboard I'm gonna be left with 13 1/2" to play with. Is there a slim line combo or cab that I can squirrel away in said space? Any help is appreciated.
  6. ive tried all that has been suggested to no avail. and i cant replace the string cos i cant afford to.
  7. it's a Cheap Nevada P bass knock off with a hardtail bridge.
  8. Hi, i'm new hear and have a question for the masses of technical genius' that are on this forum. I have just replaced my strings for the first time and i have suddenly developed a problem. all my strings are fine and all sound nicer and brighter then the old ones. However my "A" string buzzes. It buzzes when open and fretted and i know it's not Fretboard buzz. It sounds to me to be coming from the bridge. and raising and lowering the bridge has done nothing to remove this buzzing. Neither has lengthening and shortening it. Iv'e even tried tightening the bridge and still nothing happened. All help would be appreciated, as i have found nothing about this problem anywhere on the internet at all! P.S apologies for the bad pun in the title
