  1. Some suggestions: Filter envelope invert Voice 1, 2 3 or 4 on/off (useful if you always program dry bass to a particular voice). MIDI clock sync on/off Midi clock subdivisions LFO 1/2 ratio mix 2 on/off.
  2. Probably best for you to think of what you’d like to be able to do and go from there. Does the UTIL only spit out a single CC?
  3. Not sure if the DJ will fit this though - die they normally have a five-bolt plate? No, build is another Lakland but it’s with Jon currently and he’s mega busy.
  4. You could choose not to update but it’s at your risk. They don’t want units screwing up when in use so will be on to this “feature” when they get time.
  5. No, it’s a fault and will get “fixed”, sorry. The problem is that it won’t correctly load certain patches and may well lock up your pedal with certain settings and I’m sure they don’t want that to happen to users mid-gig or mid-recording.
  6. You are quite right, sir! Some of the patches don’t work properly though, particularly some of the FM stuff, but there are plenty that do. Nice bonus.
  7. Are you doing this via the mobile editor with an audio cable into input 2?
  8. They were originally going to be identical (in the same way the fuzz and modulation pedals are) other than the hardware knobs but late on in the development they decided to pare down the features on Spectrum. When you click on the Spectrum photo first, that should be filtering for Spectrum-only presets. I’ll take a proper look tonight. Just had a look on the mobile app and you are correct that C4 presets are appearing in the list. What will be the test will be what happens when I try to load one into spectrum that uses features not found in spectrum such as the square wave oscillator. @AJ567, what happens when you try to load the patch “PWM” by jbharms1? That sound is composed purely of square waves. Does it work on your Spectrum?
  9. It’s not always to do with registration (though not having been registered is probably a plus point) but they often insist that the name on the original receipt match the name of the person claiming under warranty.
  10. Just a heads-up, @walshy - warranties don’t always transfer to the second owner so it’s probably worth checking with Line 6 before mentioning that as a selling point. (I looked at a 6-month old Novation Summit which has a 3-year warranty but when I asked Novation about their policy, I was told that it would not transfer to me if I bought it (even if I were given the original receipt).)
  11. Really? That hasn’t been announced. If you can, then that’s great news. I’ll check tonight but am sceptical. I had been asking about this as there are certain C4 patches which only use parameters common to it and Spectrum but Jesse told me it would be difficult to implement. Only the ability to load Spectrum patches into C4 was possible. For many of my C4 patches, I specifically went back and recreated them on Spectrum so that users could access them. The key test will be whether clicking on a patch which has a picture of the C4 will load on a Spectrum. I suspect not, but I’ll be delighted to be proved wrong.
  12. Ben bought my Doom 2 within an hour of my listing it. All straightforward with prompt payment, friendly and timely communication. Welcome any time. Many thanks.
  13. One per channel, as per the diagram Source Audio shared. Not sure if that means running one channel into the other would achieve the same as a dedicated multiband compressor though.
  14. Apologies for the zombie thread revival - they do now have a compressor (not multiband like the TC but still...).
  15. The C4 editor has three modulation slots to which you can assign three parameters and you can specify the start and stop value of each. This is per patch and can be controlled by anything sending (by default) CC 100, be that an expression pedal or button presses. Have you used the CC waveform function in the MC6 yet? I’m presuming that’s how you’ve programmed your momentary up sweeps. Have you loaded the beta v3.8.0 firmware? There are some nice new features.
  16. Thanks, it is indeed. Tempting to keep it but if I keep a jazz, I want blocks and binding. (Wondering if I could just get Lakland to make another neck to fit.)
  17. I saw they had options for Hermes and for UPS. I chose UPS.
  18. Fingers crossed... The Pro 3 was in stock when I bought it. The P10 wasn’t. Something shipped today.
  19. Bax is offering some ridiculously good prices on top-drawer synths: the Moog One 16-voice, Sequential Prophet 10 and Pro 3 SE are all cheaper than their smaller siblings. And there’s 7.5% off those prices.
  20. I’m guessing you all know what this is if you’re looking. Some big BF purchases mean I’m feeling I ought to make some cash back elsewhere and I have another pedal which does similar stuff to this (plus the new Ultrawave coming soon). In excellent condition (note a couple of light oxidation patches at the top centre of the faceplate. Comes in the original box. @AinsleyWalker
  21. With the current MC6 firmware, you can have 1 button cycle through 16 messages, so can have 16 knob assignments selectable on C4; when the full v3.8.0 is released, you'll be able to cycle through all 128 CC values on a single button so will be able to select any parameter.
