  1. My order was through Bass Direct; he simply never got to any of the orders through that shop.
  2. Excellent! I totally need to visit when you get it!
  3. It sounded like he had some mental health problems, which I am totally sympathetic to. I hope he recovers and gets back up and running soon.
  4. Still gutted I never got mine. Not sure I’ll ever manage to get one now as Spencer has disappeared again.
  5. yes, but most likely US only for now. Obviously distribution to our island takes a little while, especially during a pandemic.
  6. It is available already. Some dealers already have stock. Sequential only ever makes announcements when the stock is ready to go out of the door.
  7. It was £1100 everywhere else so may have been a blip. I’m sure it’ll drop a bit once they hit the shops. This is still a lot of synth for £1100.
  8. Must’ve gone up then; it was £999 last night.
  9. Under £1k here: https://rubadub.co.uk/products/sequential-take-5-polyphonic-analogue-synthesizer
  10. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/pRAKFGRhdq1toz1t9 https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/8xnRxQ9iK5WgZG52A
  11. New stuff. https://www.sequential.com/product/take-5-compact-poly-synth/
  12. Thanks. Would it have been possible to put an extra knob on top to control the onboard distortion level?
  13. 20 months waiting so far. Apparently my pickups have now arrived and my bass is third in the queue…
  14. Very tempted to get the FB again and pit it against my Micro-Tron IV, which I didn’t have last time I owned the FB.
  15. Thanks. Looks great. What’s the extra jack socket on the top to the left of the power inlet when looking at the back side?
  16. It takes practice. I’m no pianist but have made big leaps this past year.
  17. Any chance you could share pics? That sounds really interesting and all stuff I’d love to have done to mine. Is the loop post-envelope detector? One other mod I’d seen was that the distortion trimpot was given a surface knob so it could be dialled in to taste.
  18. I got one of these to travel with. They sound great.
  19. What stuff does this cover? Any chance you could post a pic of the contents pages?
  20. I think I saw one go for £65 on here once. I think I paid about £85 for mine years ago.
  21. The biggest leap I’ve made in actual keys playing is learning good pentatonic fingerings in all keys. I highly recommend Marius Nordal’s book “Wisdom of the Hand”. I got it and started working out if it at the end of last year and it has absolutely transformed my playing.
  22. For learning what synth parameters do, this site is brilliant: https://learningsynths.ableton.com
  23. Future Impact, no question. It’s also on a sale price until August 31st and works out at about £228 all-in posted to your door, direct from Panda: http://pandamidi.com/store/future-impact-v3-bass-guitar-synth It just reached full maturity with the latest update which added a brilliant patch-management tool to the editor. No better time to buy one. Though, as said, you can get some very attractively-priced keyboard synths these days.
  24. I love mine and it has seen off many other excellent filters over the past four or five years or so that I’ve had it. They come up cheaply enough used - £80ish (or even less sometimes).
