  1. Wonder if it’s my old one. If so, I’ll be tracking you down as I miss it. 😆
  2. Wow, that was quick.
  3. Was it meant to be a review or was it just him having some fun and live-streaming it? He’s a great character and bass player.
  4. Gaz is brilliant. I’ve been in that room and it’s a veritable playden of cool stuff.
  5. @Skinner, @shoobbs
  6. Interesting and a very cool name. So basically a phaser/fuzz/octave combo at heart.
  7. I’m really enjoying the Aclam board and will definitely get a bigger one when I decide which size will work best. I can’t stand Velcro or cable ties so this is great for me. They have just developed some quick-release fasteners too so rearranging is a breeze.
  8. There are, from what I’ve heard, some ok synth-type sounds to be had in the Stomp but they won’t touch stuff like the C4 and FI.
  9. Interesting and good to see something with PWM on it which is lacking in many synth pedals. Tuning seemed a bit squiffy and sounded more like V/octave than playing back the exact pitch so wonder what was going on there.
  10. I know, but I like the retro look.
  11. That whole album “Diana” is brilliant. The deluxe version has the original Chic mixes too. Well worth listening to.
  12. At the moment, yes. It works better with the Mastotron than the VBO does. Let’s see show the Octabvre plays with it too. For the moment, the fuzz is pretty cool too, though I might be able to do all that with the Ultrawave, I’ll have to see.
  13. I’m definitely missing a few.
  14. Doom 2, Josh Wah and Spectracomp all gone though. Octabvre III and Ultrawave inbound. Still got three pedals in boxes in addition to the Spectrum and LS-2 that I need to make space for somehow.
  15. Gone from spaghetti madness to something a bit neater now that I’ve finally got around to buying an actual board, courtesy of @Allaboutthebass. It’s a bit smaller than I need so have had to sacrifice the LS-2 and Spectrum temporarily (a few of the other pedals have since been sold and another couple acquired; you know how it is). Before and after shots:
  16. “I get him off with my turquoise chain!” Gotta love Betty.
  17. One tip: hit an init patch in the editor, set the INSTR slider in the Main Mixer to 127 then match the level to the bypassed signal using the hardware output dial. (Unless you want 127 to represent a greater-than-unity-gain level.)
  18. I thought it was entirely his design, like the Q Tron, but just released under the auspices of EHX.
  19. One more than the number one currently owns - like what's the ideal number of filters to own.😀
  20. I’d really like to put my Microtron IV next to a Tru-Tron 3x. Maybe when Covid is less dominant (whenever that might be) @AlexJMcGibbon and I can meet up and compare notes.
  21. It is much nicer than the previous design, which I thought was already pretty nice. This is even better. The sounds it makes are ridiculous too.
  22. So this is looking even sexier now:
  23. Bought a pedalboard from Neil. All sorted really quickly, details exchanged. Got it within a couple of days of paying and am really pleased with it. Absolutely as described, well- packed. Communication was great throughout with updates given as everything progressed. A pleasure and I’d happily recommend him to one and all. Many thanks.
