  1. Here are some new patches. 1-6 are subtle variations, combined into 1 sound file. 7, 8 and especially 9 is where the interesting stuff happens (towards the end of the track).
  2. The database glitch has been fixed by Zsolt now. I’ll upload these patches tonight. One thing to note is that I created them on my keyboard so they don’t really react quite the same on bass. Patches with filter pitch tracking are often laggy on bass. Also, the velocity response of my keyboard will be different from that of a bass.
  3. Here are five patches I intended to share for free but there seems to be a problem with the database site - either my permissions are blocked or there is a wider problem. Could someone please check if the "add new" button is visible and let me know. @GisserD, @lee650, @SICbass
  4. I’ll trade all my patches for a functioning right arm/spine.
  5. Another one on eBay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F114134495033 (Please no one bid on the collider though - that’ll be a nice birthday present to myself.)
  6. OK, just wondered if you’d coated them to minimise hum from skin contact.
  7. Even just using it to change patches, adjust volumes and switch the tuner on remotely is pretty cool. You can use it to kill the dry bass in an octaver patch, play chords, change LFO speed, morph sounds within a patch (lots of my released sounds do this), add pitch and filter vibrato. I’m sure you’d find creative ways to use it.
  8. Spectrum/C4 is a good multi-filter. If you want a single filter then the Mu-Tron Micro-Tron IV sounds wonderful. It has very limited controls but is a lush-sounding filter. Also, get a MIDI controller for the FI - it puts it into another league entirely. Morningstar MC6 is super-compact and very powerful whilst being a doddle to program and use.
  9. Ooh, that’s the first v3 FI I’ve seen in someone’s board!
  10. No, your interface’s firmware. If that’s not up to date then it could cause problems with the FI update. (Not Having updated the UM-One driver was the reason @SICbass and I couldn’t get his FI to update on his Mac.)
  11. UM-One MK 2 Goes to 10.15: https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/um-one_mk2/updates_drivers/e1812bfc-104a-4a18-a1db-b07980c0732c/ Still the interface of choice. I think Zsolt who writes the editor is using one.
  12. Spotted a used one. Rare to see them. Bargain for someone: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F124091990274
  13. Will take a while as the build can take up to a year. Mine is from Industrial Radio. There’s another user who has ordered one from ROR.
  14. Afraid that won’t happen as the code space is pretty low and there are still some other features to come later. You need one of these: https://industrialradio.com.au/products/ir-j4-midi-bass/ Or these: https://www.rorguitars.com/products/expressiv-midi-bass I’ve got an IR PJ4 on order.
  15. Hi Andrew, welcome, you're in for a real treat! The input instrument outputs at unity gain; the synth has a really hot signal and I think is line-level though it'd be best to get @Andras Szalay to confirm. The FI doesn't output MIDI notes so you can't use it to control other synths. However, you can trigger the FI via MIDI so you can use other hardware synths (and their onboard sequencers) to control it.
  16. Now that I’m permanently running pedals in my C4’s loop, I’ve had a go at writing a patch that runs processor 1 and 2 in series: https://soundcloud.com/peter-kenney-750235819/donkey-biter It’d be a wonderful addition if a series routing option could be done in software so that one didn’t physically have to patch the cable from output 2 into input 2 as I imagine not everyone will want to have their pedal set up like this.
