  1. I know it’s becoming a mantra, but please do read the manual. I put a lot of effort into it and am pretty sure it covers anything you could want to know. It has a clear index and is in pdf format so is searchable. There are lots of cool features in there that might not be immediately apparent. In fact, when I went to rewrite it, there was a feature in there that I was unaware of.
  2. Yep, I specifically asked for this button to be added to the editor.
  3. Read the manual! I wrote a whole section on how to program from scratch! Use the “init” button in the program window (see photo in previous post). Or use the “reset” function in the bottom right of the screen. Select the parameters you want to reset using the tick boxes (or by clicking “select all”).
  4. I have plenty of patches that do that already. I wanted to try something different. I deliberately left the high end in as there are subtle changes to the balance of wave volumes going on via the mod matrix.
  5. Love this track! I didn't like the Deepmind. I had their Model D but it was faulty (modulation would never get to zero which threw the pitch out). It sounded awesome otherwise. I'm actually waiting to see what Sequential come out with in the hope that they'll release a poly that I'm interested in.
  6. We need clips of the Xerograph! Still wondering if the Manta will survive in the longer term. A good few programming sessions on the C4 could unseat it.
  7. The bummer is that it isn’t currently possible to share and install single banks.
  8. Hooray! I’ve been offered £180 in compensation from my bank!
  9. Are you interested in playing the FI polyphonically? I have developed some pretty cool MC8 (and MC6) banks and programmed complementary FI patches so I can play chordally.
  10. Here's my attempts at the EHX Bassballs. Does anyone know whether the drive is pre- or post-filter? Available on the file share site. @lee650
  11. Cool. There are plenty of patches here too: https://auraplug.com/fidatabase2/
  12. Hopefully less than the £260 that they currently are new. Welcome to the club. Don’t forget to get a usb-midi interface so you can update firmware and load patches.
  13. You can check the version history for when v2 came out. It added the tuner and other stuff. Bear in mind that v3 was a massive upgrade from v2 which consequently took a lot of time, especially as Andras is the only one working on the code (alongside his other work). The other thing is that a lot of the new features I suggested once I was on board required a significant restructuring of the core code. This was necessary to get things like the new multiple LFOs from VCO3 and VCO4. I would think that any planned upgrades are minor in comparison to the above but because I know nothing about coding, I cannot say how long those things might take to implement correctly. More good stuff is coming. In the meantime, let’s enjoy the already awesome pedal we have.
  14. Actually, you can probably get close by hooking up a Freeze pedal. You could then use an expression pedal on CC2 to lower the synth volume on subsequent notes, leaving just dry bass or just play more synth. Not as elegant as a one-pedal solution but it might work in the interim.
  15. I’m sure it’ll happen but some patience is required. Remember how long we had to wait for v3 but it was totally worth it.
  16. Yep, I’ve got one too and it’s basically Bootsy in a (small) box.
  17. It’s when it’s engaged; bypass is just fine. The circuit is ridiculously sensitive to the slightest movement of the string (even muted ones). Basically any tiny movement induces a current via the magnets and the pedal picks that up. The Vintage didn’t fix the problem until they added the resistor to the later run.
