  1. I cannot tell you how very true this is. It’s taken me a while to get to this realisation that I prefer limitations.
  2. @charlietuna has the FT version.
  3. I think I’ve been through this before on this thread. It’s a combination of left hand muting when stopping notes and the right-hand muting technique whereby when you’ve played a standard rest stroke, you immediately stop the ringing string with the other finger. These two techniques in combination mean you can get enough daylight between notes for the tracking algorithm to hear two separate triggers. Practise each technique in isolation using a single repeated pitch then put them together.
  4. I wasn’t really being defensive as I have zero input or interest in the business side of things. It was merely an observation based on what I’ve seen and heard from users. From what I can see, people who’ve wanted one have just gone ahead and bought one. Agonising afterwards that one might have got a cheaper price later if one had waited is just wasted energy at that point, irritating though it may be.
  5. I haven’t seen a single person who’s bought one complaining. They all seem to very much enjoying making music with their pedal and singing its praises.
  6. Nice price on this great pedal. Neuro 3.0 is nearing release and makes these pedals even nicer to work with.
  7. I used the TC Sentry fir a long time. Now just use the one built into stuff like the Source Audio C4.
  8. Quite a few of the new ones are mine but not 47 I don’t think. However, I did do some patches that do what you describe (patch 15 for instance).
  9. Could potentially do postage if you were to sort out your own courier as I still have the box it came to me in.
  10. @stewblack also realised that the right-hand slider values for the coarse tuning aren’t shown in the screenshot. Set them to 12 higher than the value of their left ones.
  11. Read the bit on Flexi Controllers in the manual. You click “learn” on one of the four flexis at the top left of the screen then click the slider you want to control. (You need to select the source in the flexi too by clicking the little window with the source name.)
  12. Oh, sorry to hear about your singer that sounds terrible. If you ever decide to sell the octave again, please let me know as I might well want to buy it back. (I am now totally without an analogue octaver for the first time in many years. Not missing it as yet as I’m busy with other things but I imagine I’ll yearn for one again sometime in the not-too-distant future.)
  13. Any generic USB to MIDI will work. I have a spare I could post out to you (though am in hospital tomorrow so it might take a few days to sort it out). Think you might well be the first one; you’ve narrowly pipped @andybassdoyle.
  14. Down to 15 now, which is more manageable but probably still too many.
  15. Panda isn’t registered for VAT in the UK, which is why buying direct will be subject to UK import VAT (and why they are keen to get a UK distributor). So in the meantime, just buy one from DV247 if it’s cheaper there as they do appear to be registered for UK VAT.
  16. Deal alert! https://www.pandamidi.com/store/future-impact-v4-big-bundle
  17. Managed it on the FI with relative ease.
  18. Stew bought my trusty original Future Impact. All details and payment sorted in a matter of minutes. Many thanks.
  19. Would consider a trade against a Stingray or Fender American Professional II Precision but sale very much preferred.
  20. I use that too sometimes but the MS offers me many more options (and controls my other pedals too). If I were taking the FI and nothing else to a session I’d probably use the 4Control.
  21. I use mine with my Morningstar controller which can act as the interface too so no need to unplug/disassemble anything - simply hook up a usb cable to the Morningstar et voilá!
