  1. Ah yes, I see that now. I’m curious about clips of the MuTron clone too.
  2. Damn, I’ve just bought a Flex, otherwise would likely have jumped on this.
  3. Presuming the controls have the same ranges and scaling, try these settings (subs on 3 (max)). This is what I used all the time with octave into filter for synth stuff.
  4. There is a pedal that does that, if I recall correctly. Think I saw it on Bass The World sometime in the last couple of years.
  5. Is that the 3-way sub switch too?
  6. See my above post.
  7. B15 is what I’m chasing. Yes, had the Broughton Fliptop for quite some time. I sold it after I bought the SGT after a bit of time with both. I wasn’t 100% sure whether to let it go; they are different. Even with the preamp of the SGT-DI set flat, when you engage the B15 SGT side, there’s quite a lot of high end roll-off. The Flex feels closer to the sound of the Broughton Fliptop (though that’s from memory as I haven’t had it for a couple of weeks). I’ve never played a real B15 so my perception of what sounds most authentic is only coming from YouTube comparison videos. The SGT sounded damn close in this one: It’s at the end of the video.
  8. Fight!
  9. Oh, sorry, that’s quite a big hold-up.
  10. Have you received it yet? If so, how is it?
  11. There are creative ways around such things.
  12. @lee650 has a wanted ad for the bug crusher. Please drop him a message.
  13. (Posted before I’d seen @lee650’s post.)
  14. Nice. Indeed, I also prefer the older circuits. I used to have a MKII and foolishly sold it. Later bought the MKIII and didn’t really like it. I recently had the Mini and had the chance to compare it to a borrowed MKII and MKIII and my preference is still the MKII so I sold the Mini. Now need to find a MKII of my own.
  15. This would help to generate more interest.
  16. I did it a while ago; I used to own the darker version then bought one of these more purple ones when one came up, so before I sold the first one I hooked both up. It was a lot of fun, very vocal sounding.
  17. The Levine book is absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to understand jazz harmony. It’s such a clear and well-laid-out book.
  18. I’m tempted to get this so I can run two of them in parallel/stereo.
  19. And its synth capabilities:
  20. I’m not sure how this one flew under my radar. Thanks to @charlietuna for bringing it to my attention.
