  1. I did it a while ago; I used to own the darker version then bought one of these more purple ones when one came up, so before I sold the first one I hooked both up. It was a lot of fun, very vocal sounding.
  2. The Levine book is absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to understand jazz harmony. It’s such a clear and well-laid-out book.
  3. I’m tempted to get this so I can run two of them in parallel/stereo.
  4. And its synth capabilities:
  5. I’m not sure how this one flew under my radar. Thanks to @charlietuna for bringing it to my attention.

  7. Cash preferred but there are a few trade items I’d consider: 2EQ ‘90s Stingray (with flea bridge) or Classic; Fender American Professional II precision; Fender American Standard Precision 2012-2016 (with CS60 pickups); Moog Voyager.
  8. It does, but I hope he’s using a shielded cable.
  9. Tell me you’re not well hung without telling me you’re not well hung.😆
  10. Don’t forget this too:
  11. This looks interesting and has some nice additions compared to the Microtron. It adds individual dry and wet volumes as opposed to just the overall level control of the IV (allows dry to be mixed with bandpass for example, which is a very welcome addition). Also adds a continuously adjustable cutoff frequency control as opposed to the fixed 2-position high/low switch.
  12. Aren’t those phalanges?🙂
  13. Two requests I’d like to make if this were to become a reality: it’d be nice to be able to optionally have the cab sim on the 1/4” output. Similarly it would be nice to be able to optionally disable cab sim on the XLR output altogether.
  14. It’s the “j” sound. Flanger comes from the way the effect was originally produced, which was by running two simultaneous tapes containing identical audio then physically pressing on the flange (rim) of the tape reel of one machine so that it slowed down, creating a slight delay, which in turn causes sum-and-difference frequency effects.
  15. @admiralchew do you need one of these?
  16. Oh man, I wanted one of these for years in that combo (or natural) and they never came up when I had funds. Now I’ve decided I’m a P bass player one turns up. Oh well. Looks lovely and will make its next owner very happy. GLWTS.
  17. Lovely. So tempted to pick up another couple of these to try different fretboard/string combos. (I do wish Fender would put a bit more effort into bookmatching on their burst models though so that the joins weren’t so visible.)
  18. Sell your standard and buy my SE?😆 If it doesn’t sell at this price, I’ll just keep it I think. Could trade it at a shop but would lose way too much and they’d only sell it for more than what I’ve listed it for.
  19. What instrument mode are you playing in? You need to be in synth mode.
  20. Just got one of these yesterday. Very nice B15 sounds. There’s a direct comparison to a B15N in this video at around 5.08:
  21. I bought an Ampeg SGT-DI from Rich. All sorted out within a day and posted off on the next working day. Would happily transact again. Many thanks.
