  1. And presumably the second time around as I bought Andy’s Subterranea a while ago.
  2. Anyone else excited by this? At $5,999 for the 8-voice and $7,999 for the 16-voice version, it’s way out of my budget but I’m nonetheless excited that it’s finally a reality. Still hasn’t been announced on the Moog site but is available for preorder at Sweetwater: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MoogOne16--moog-one-16-voice-analog-synthesizer It looks beautiful and the specs sound phenomenal.
  3. Nah, The Netherlands has legal prostitution so there’s stiff competition.
  4. Is that donnerdeal.com?
  5. Where do you find these deals? I’d be up for trying the OC-10 for that money.
  6. Do you have one? If so, get on it. I’ve got a bunch of presets I’ve shared and I’ve just added a few new ones.
  7. One slight problem I’ve encountered is that if the parameters have been changed on the app, when performing a scene save these aren’t correctly saved! There seems to be some kind of weird behaviour that means that it’s only either the physical positions of the knobs that get saved or the positions as dictated by a preset change. Things work fine when remotely changing settings via the SA hub manager software so I’m not sure what the problem is. I think I’ll drop a line to source audio and see if they can shed some light on why this might be.
  8. By the way, the template is for an iPhone 6 screen. You might need to tweak it in the PC editor to get it to resize for your particular model.
  9. The template could be quickly copied and amended to add pages with controls for other SB2 pedals.
  10. I downloaded TouchOSC the other day and have created a template for the Manta which allows control over all parameters and a page that allows direct access to any of the 128 presets. It’s not quite as elegant as I would’ve liked as the exclusive toggles sent out two messages and ended up causing chaos. It’s a shame as it would’ve allowed the currently-selected preset to be highlighted. This is the best I could do so far within the limitations of the software. Please let me know if you download it and have any further suggestions. I’m experimenting with the XY pads and such and will add more tabs when I feel they are properly functional. Download my template from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aJBilCdrp1k6OpMm_dZkuOrNPUw6CiCX You’ll need to get the app from the iTunes app/Play store. It is possible to sync without recourse to the TouchOSC PC editor.
  11. Are you distributing in the UK on behalf of Olivier?
  12. I don’t know where you’ve seen those, but if you can get one that cheap then go for it. Most that recently sold went for around £150. There were a couple last year that went for £125. The cheapest one which I’ve seen was £110, it got withdrawn. Also that was two years ago and prices have risen a fair bit in that time. 13. Over-packing could have been a contributing factor. One needs to allow a certain amount of “crush space”. I once bought a Nord Piano on eBay where the seller wrapped it in bubble wrap (in addition to the original packing). The fact the bubble wrap was touching the piano caused one of the LEDs to get crushed. If he’d just used the original packing it’d have been fine as it was two polystyrene end pieces which left a huge air gap between the outer box and the piano. My point is, over-packing can sometimes cause damage.
  14. I’m in that club now. I played for years using my ring finger when playing at the lower end of the neck. Then I picked up the Simandl book on double bass fingerings and it was a revelation; suddenly playing low down wasn’t uncomfortable anymore. I use a mixture of Simandl and finger-per-fret, depending on where I am on the neck.
  15. I’m trying to pare right back and am finding I’m using my Mastotron much more than this so am offering it here. Owned from new, never gigged and still in outstanding condition. Comes with the original box and rubber feet too.
  16. I just bought a multiple-output power brick so this trusty power supply is now surplus to my requirements. Bought from new, still got the box, has only had fairly light use.
  17. Or save for the Midibass and use it with a Minitaur - portable, phat, 128 presets selectable directly from the bass.
  18. Just seen that my lovely local shop is selling Meris pedals now. If you’re thinking of buying one, please consider getting one from these guys. I will be. https://www.richtonemusic.co.uk/search/?query=Meris
  19. That’s a great price too and about what I paid for the discounted first version I bought.
  20. I still think it could be improved with built-in triggered ADS(R) envelopes in addition to the envelope follower. I wish I’d tried this with a Minitaur. One could use the gate out to trigger the envelopes and the pitch CV for the oscillators.
  21. I feel like he barely scratched the surface of what this pedal can do. (I don’t mean that as an insult - it just seems a very deep pedal).
