  1. As he said at the end of the video, he’s not going to release it until he’s tried his hardest to break it.
  2. It’s exciting that Joel plans on making this a whole line of pedals.
  3. YES! This is what I’ve been waiting for: analogue pedals with presets with sliders that jump to the positions! Chase Bliss is amazing.
  4. Probably, but if you were planning to drive up to collect then the motorway junction is also a pretty useful piece of information.
  5. West of Nottingham via a quick google search. (Junction 25 of the M1 motorway.)
  6. I picked up a Wombtone MkII at the weekend at my local shop and am loving it. It has a lot of the versatility of the Moogerfooger as regards use with expression but it takes it further by being able to control multiple parameters and sweep directions from one expression pedal. It really has the best of both worlds by having fat, analogue sound, a live settings mode and presets. If they were to make an analogue octave/fuzz combo and a dedicated filter I’d be buying them.
  7. I finally figured out why my Manta presets were behaving erratically with my TouchOSC template - there were three presets which had CCs assigned instead of PCs. All sorted now. If you’ve used this, please download it again as I’ve updated the saved version (has the same number though). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aJBilCdrp1k6OpMm_dZkuOrNPUw6CiCX/view?usp=drivesdk
  8. I’ll likely be selling a set of these when I get round to putting my new set of Labellas on.
  9. That’s a LOT of synth for the money and Gisser is great to deal with.
  10. Mike bought my Q-Tron. Went from initial contact to receiving payment in about 20 minutes. Really smooth transaction. Thanks.
  11. Sold. I’m gonna miss this one someday, I’m sure.
  12. It’s actually a Herbie Hancock tune from the “Blow Up” soundtrack.
  13. This is a bit of a feeler as I’m not 100% sure about this. A fantastic, fat octave pedal (and now discontinued) with some nice features: tone knob to vary the octave sound, sub-only channel and Tim mode which changes the character of the tone knob, adding a massive low end. As you’ll probably be aware, this is Spencer’s take on the OC-2 and Mu-Tron octavider. Never been mounted on a board or used in anger. I bought this new from Bass Direct 16 months ago. The eagle-eyed of you may notice the absence of the “MKII” and “TIM” from the silk screening. My guess is that Spencer was using up already-produced stock from the MKI when this was built. I didn’t notice for about a month and it has never bothered me but thought I’d best mention it. Add £5 for signed-for UK postage.

  14. This is one I’ll probably regret but I’m not really using this. (With some careful tweaking, I can get close with my Qballs.) Absolutely classic envelope filter in excellent condition. This is Mike Beigel’s EHX version of his legendary Mu-Tron III. I had the output jack professionally replaced with a Switchcraft jack by Jon Shuker when I got it as the original wasn’t gripping properly. Comes with the original power supply and is fully functional. Add £5 for signed-for UK postage.
  15. Was just about to post about this. RichTone (https://www.richtonemusic.co.uk/) is my local shop and I can’t say enough good things about it. First and foremost, the staff are all really great people - friendly, helpful and absolutely zero sales pressure. They also really take care of their customers. One staff member managed to bend the rules slightly to make sure there was a particular pedal sent to the store from the warehouse so I could try it out. I’ve been having problems with my synth (which I originally bought from them) which has twice come back from the Moog distributor with damage after a routine calibration and they are being great in helping get it sorted out. They have a well-stocked showroom and one is free to try out stuff with no pressure. They get some pretty good used gear in too. I try to do all my purchasing there wherever possible and they will price match. I wish I’d discovered it sooner, it’s been there over twelve years but I only started shopping there a couple of years ago.
  16. Yep, it’s an incredible value pedal the OC-10.
  17. Have you tried contacting Tom at Cog directly?
  18. That’s a shame; generally the second-hand stuff is good as it only gets used for a brief period anyway. We never bought any new stuff at all and saved loads.
  19. The clavinet is doubling the bassline. It is definitely a clav.
  20. My patch is in the shared folder in the FI resource thread if you want to give it whirl.
  21. I've programmed a Future Impact patch which gets pretty close to a Clav.
  22. Clavinets didn't have a built-in phaser (in the sense of Phase 90/Small Stone) but were often used in conjuction with one. Perhaps you are thinking of the four pickup combinations, some of which had the two pickups in or out of phase.
  23. I tried this out today. Tracks like a bloodhound and sounds pretty great. Not as much gain as my Octabvre but tracks much better than it. The Octabvre has more bottom end and a plummier sound but the MXR is a really good octave pedal and I may well get one.
