  1. Does the blender do series as well as parallel? Edit: I just checked out the manufacturer website and indeed it does. (The v4 looks interesting too.) If someone buys my Bass Microsynth I will be interested in this (I’m trying to keep pedal spending at net zero).
  2. What about if you use that KMA signal splitter that separates high and low frequencies into separate channels?
  3. I’d suggest getting a Source Audio Aftershock and trying out all the various models in there. You may end up loving the pedal and keeping it. Or you may come away with a much clearer idea of what kind of distortion pedal you’re after.
  4. @Prime_BASS, weren’t you after one of these again?
  5. Cool. The only down side is that there’s no (external) control for the volume of the octave signal. I did send a message to Red Witch asking if they’d release a stand-alone octaver with this circuit but never got a reply.
  6. Midi Pad 2 is great for changing presets on the Source Audio Hub and is capable of much more too (note triggering, CC, Program change). Any “pad” can have multiple parameters assigned to it. A very powerful tool. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/midipad-2/id896879399?mt=8 Knob Lab is great too. I’m setting it up to control all the parameters on my Manta directly. Again, you can create a one-knob layout that controls many parameters simultaneously. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/knob-lab-midi-controller-by-sonic-logic/id727466234?mt=8
  7. Interesting. A shame you’re not close so I could try it out.
  8. That is the combo I would love, 2-EQ, honeyburst, rosewood, white, birdseye neck. I wanted to custom order a SLO special like this and was gutted to find they discontinued this awesome colour. I wish I could get on with Stingray necks.
  9. Seriously, it’s well worth it even at full price and there are other ways than keyboard to play it.
  10. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/minimoog-model-d/id1339418001?mt=8
  11. It’s exactly the same internally, they just made the case slightly smaller, reducing the lip at the top so that one can now use right-angled cables and have them pointing upwards. Also, the base on the new one is completely flat and has a standard screw for the battery compartment instead of the knob.
  12. Just tried this model again in a shop; sadly the neck is indeed too fat for my liking. They had a 75 reissue next to it so I could compare directly. For me the 75 is more comfortable.
  13. Indeed it is a good pedal. This is the older version with the lip over the jack sockets.
  14. The more I look at this, the more tempted I am. I’m going to check out an example of this in a music shop in the next few days to see if I can convince my hands to like it. I’ll let you know if I succeed.
  15. Wouldn’t this be too much power for the 2x10 8ohm traveller cab? 500W is plenty for my needs.
  16. I’d love this but the 800 watt version is way more than I need.
  17. This is the one I had and sold! @andybassdoyle May want it back though.
