  1. Good work. I’d also thought spreading the knobs to the edge of the pedal might be good. Good job on the detente if it works, that’ll be wicked.
  2. What if the “hinge” is on the flip lid and the part into which it clips is recessed into the surface of the pedal enclosure. Probably easier for me to draw than describe but am not near pen and paper.
  3. A headphone output and I may have been sold.
  4. Do bear in mind that synths are capable of a vast array of sounds both musical and unmusical (I’m primarily interested in them for bass sounds) so one demo might not necessarily show of the features or sounds you personally would be interested in.
  5. Sorry. I’ve got really into synths so that’s what I’ve been checking out (along with synth-related bass effects).
  6. Arturia’s new microfreak is interesting:
  7. Here’s a much better demo from the pedal’s creator:
  8. Completely different market. I don't think anyone who really wanted the reissue would have changed their mind when the Behringer came out. The Moog is a thing of beauty. I owned a Behringer D for a bit; it sounded really good, though the oscillators drift a lot compared to the Moog. I ultimately returned it due to a problem with the modulation section where the pitch got sent a semitone sharp when it shouldn't have. If a Moog D come up at a reasonable price then I'll get one. Annoyingly one came up just as I was about to move house so I couldn't spare the cash then. Now that I can, I haven't seen one. (There's one on ebay but it's priced above what it cost new.)
  9. haha, I hadn't seen that - been staring at a screen all day. Yes, you're quite right.
  10. If the wall doesn't work then one of those roll bars could do the job, it could even be molded. It would stop a foot touching it whilst allowing access by fingers.
  11. I wonder if the font could be one of those that is different depending on which angle it is viewed from then it could say Future Impact/Future Compact depending on viewing angle.
  12. That was my idea too. Obviously you need to get Mexico to pay for it and shut the government down until your demands are met.
  13. That's worded so because the Minitaur is limited to the C above middle C.
  14. Actually, part of the reason the run of the Model D finished so soon was because demand for the reissue was so high. They ran out after a year when they'd expected to be building them over a few years.
  15. Another idea: instead of relocating the RH stomp switch, what if you angled the portion of the surface on which they sit towards the player so that one's foot wouldn't hit the encoder when pressing them?
  16. Given it's 3D printed, could you have a meteor crater modelled into the fascia, @GisserD?
  17. Quite likely, actually. They often do limited runs of stuff (Minimoog D reissue, Subsequent 37 CV, Little Phatty tribute edition).
  18. Anyone else clock that this is based on the filter from the Prophet 5? Now THAT is cool. I'm still not blown away by the demos though.
  19. Stingray with a figured top - nice!
  20. This has been announced and discussed elsewhere on here but is worth repeating: https://www.sourceaudio.net/what-are-they-building-in-there.html
  21. Yeah, today is the first time I've looked at it via PC - the horizontal scrolling is a PITA. It's not that great on mobile either. The product will rock. I had a Minitaur but found the range limitation really frustrating; this solves that. Even though I have other synths, I'm tempted by this and it looks really cool.
  22. Couldn't see one so thought I'd start one. Loads of cool stuff already announced, starting with this: https://www.moogmusic.com/news/sirin-analog-messenger-joy
  23. Given all the functionality available, it looks like using Neuro is a must (or buy both pedals). Even then, judging by the block diagram, there are way more parameters than can be controlled by four knobs and a switch per pedal. I’m guessing they’ll do a “page” kind of thing with a long press of the stomp switch (like the preset mode on the aftershock).
  24. The Spectrum is the filter-focussed model, the Elevon the synth-focussed one. Both pedals are capable of exactly the same functions though.
  25. You’ll need to copy the parameter knob position markers exactly for any decal/artwork as they are precisely positioned and the lack of detented knobs doesn’t help.
