  1. Protostar arriving tomorrow! I’ll let you all know how I get on. I’ve been waiting five months for this to be in stock.
  2. Boss LS-2 will do this. Or Source Audio’s momentary toggle switch. I used the former.
  3. Ah, I see. I don’t need that much of an excuse to come to NYC as it’s somewhere I’d really like to visit. 😀 Here are a couple of nice Rendez Vous settings I found (played with a passive P bass):
  4. A couple on there that I still need to try (Meatball and Xerograph). I’d almost forgotten how big the Rendez Vous is. I much prefer this livery than the plain blue on the one I rented. The Great Divide 2 is cool too. @WaveyDavey, if you’re anywhere near Sheffield, is there any chance I might be able to try the Xerograph?
  5. Damn, I was in London at the weekend. I’m back up north now.
  6. If you aren’t already aware of what this thing can do, check out Zach Rizer’s excellent review:
  7. In outstanding condition. Comes with the original box. Price includes 2nd class recorded delivery. Price is firm. No trades. Combined postage discount of £5 if buying another of my pedals at the same time. I can post the same day if sale is confirmed by 8.30am of that day as I can take it with me to work and post from there.
  8. In excellent condition. Incredibly versatile pedal. No original box (didn’t come to me with one). Comes with USB cable and an audio cable for use with the Neuro app. Price includes 2nd class recorded (UK) delivery. No trades. Price is firm.
  9. Probably no need, the thief wouldn’t make it out of the door on account of all those morons who try to crowd round the door and try to board before anyone can get off! 😆 Great, heart-warming story. After falling foul of scammers it’s nice to hear some positive news.
  10. Anyone interested in Rhodes needs to check this. It is one of the very best software Rhodes plugins available. I heard this used on a gig and was blown away (and I have a real Rhodes). I asked the pianist what it was and bought it and was not disappointed. https://www.scarbee.com/products/scarbee-classic-ep-88s?variant=6815037030462 With the discount code you can get it for the bargain price of £38! Don’t miss this.
  11. Basically you can get the EP-88S plugin for £38 which is an absolute bargain and a total no-brainer! (I paid £60 and it used to be over £100 when it first came out.)
  12. And bingo! Just got this email:
  13. Scarbee recently made a smaller version of his EP-88S (Rhodes) available on the Korg platform. The original Kontakt Player instrument is brilliant and can be had for £50 sometimes as he often runs promotional offers. In fact he’ll probably do one over Easter so will be worth checking out. His bass plugins are amazing too.
  14. Was plug and play with my keyboard via usb and works really well. I got a bit of latency on one or two of the preset patches but wonder if that’s just down to my phone being an iPhone 6; I’m sure newer models will be faster due to better processors. Need to get a little portable midi keyboard now and I’ll be able to travel with it. Polyphony seems to be 4 notes. Tempted to check out the ARP ODYSSEi now too: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/arp-odyssei/id1147432809?mt=8
  15. Thanks, I picked up one of those on my lunch break today, looking forward to checking it out later this evening.
  16. Cool, in theory you should be able to map the knobs on your physical keyboard to knobs on the app. Perhaps I ought to get a Roland A800 or some such controller.
  17. It requires a 64bit device.
  18. I’m a total noob at iOS paraphernalia - what dongle do I need in order to hook up my keyboard? Did you see that it does midi over Bluetooth?
