    That sounds like a bug then. The “depth” knob in the pedal should only respond to the “depth” knob on the pedal. The “delay” knob on the pedal should control “delay” in the editor, and on phaser patches this should actually be the centre frequency of the filter. In the old editor it is labelled as “delay/frequency”. Another way to check would be to load a phaser patch onto the pedal and turn the “delay” knob to see if it indeed does change the centre frequency.

    Definitely get hooked up to the editor. There are loads more sounds I shared in the cloud. Try patch 86 for a classic MM-type bass sound. You can double-click and hold to quickly scroll down patches. Or click and turn the encoder to scroll through banks, then you’re only a few presses away from whatever preset you want, and can do that using up only. Or hook up a MIDI controller or Panda’s 4Control with a couple of footswitches. Glad you find the manual well-written; I’ve put many hundreds of hours into that since 2019, refining it each time.

    A fairly recent acquisition. Sounds really lovely - far superior to the current MKIII. I’d just really like to get a MKII again and so am listing this to see if I can somehow persuade the universe to turn one up for me. Price includes next-day UK Special Delivery. In great condition with some marks on the base as shown in the photo (this was a B-stock from 3Leaf). Comes with original box.

    I do do a lot of unpaid work for them so this is my recompense. I could lend you my backup Artifakt for a bit but you’ll be about 6th in line. It’s currently with @dodge_bass who’s sending it to @andybassdoyle today hopefully. When he’s had a good amount of time with it , there are a three other people I’ve promised it to. Happy to send it to you thereafter but it’ll likely be towards the end of the year.

    I just realised that some polyphonic playing is actually possible with the new FI firmware: if you play an external polyphonic synth and set its release time to be somewhat longer, then it is possible to play an arpeggiated line and have the notes overlap! This is really quite cool. (You do still have to play the line monophonically as usual for it to work though.) Bit rough but shows the idea: IMG_0230.mov
